Good stuff CJ, I agree!! The only solace is that we’ve seen UGA at their best and us at our worst. We also have a great screen game and talented receivers to counter their aggressiveness. I would really like to see us focus on establishing a strong running game against every one of our next three opponents. I think that is actually going to be our approach to ge the o line back into their groove. We have big guys with loads of talent up front. We need the RBs, specifically Blue to practice a little more patience and attack where the hole is going to be in the play design. One thing that I noticed for SC last night was how their oline was releasing atm d line instead of trying too hard and holding. There were some negative plays mixed in but it definitely helped SC stay consistent and on schedule with the run game. I really think the adjustment from big 12 to SEC officiating is that the big 12 doesn’t actually have offensive holding in their rule book and the SEC does and enforces it. We’ve seen enough now to adjust and cut down the holding calls significantly.

Up and Down, they’ve got some good players especially Jackson and do when facing a run first offense like Tennessee. They just don’t have the secondary to really keep up with teams with great speed and receivers. Texas with a healthier Quinn is a really tough matchup for them. Their offense and running game might be a really good test for our defense and their ability to stop a pounding running game with a mobile QB and some good receivers (Armstrong is LEGIT!).

South Carolina also had the second worst offensive line in giving up sacks. Only one ahead of them you ask?! Why the Oklahoma Sooners. That said ATM’s defense is fast and they hit HARD should be a great chance for our online to put all they’ve gone through the last 2 years together and play their best physical tough game of the season. Bring the fight to them don’t dance around waiting to get hit haha!

Agree!! Georgia looks like they expected to just roll in and win with no fight from FL. Beck turning the ball over is keeping things manageable for FL. Similar to us not executing at the beginning of the UGA game. Let talented teams hang around no matter how bad they’ll start to believe and at least keep it close.

I’m with you! I’d almost rather have a “bye” during conference championship week and have to play a first round game at home. If it comes to that. All we can do is win out and let the chips fall where they may.

Bit of comedy to start your Thursday TexAgs believe Texas is the 2nd most difficult game remaining on the Ags schedule. The most difficult is South Carolina and their “elite” defense. But are also predicting a loss to either USC or Auburn. Last time I checked, Texas is better at every position and has a better record than either of those 2 teams. The “logic” here is that Texas lost to Georgia and played a close game against Vandy. Ooooookkkkkkkaaaayyyyyy, if we use that then ATM machines lost to an average ND team who then lost to Northern Illinois and managed to beat Arkansas and Bowling Green by a total of 9 points. Plus beating a MSU team by 10 and giving up 11 more points to them and scoring fewer points than Texas who was playing their back up QB. But sure they’re 7-1 and Texas has a weak schedule…but that Aggie schedule is ROUGH especially that powerhouse Mizzou who has proven to be a complete paper Tiger and an LSU team that has been inconsistent and lucky more than good most of the season. Should be fun in Aggieland. Hopefully we give them the best game all season.

Well stated!! Thank you! We still have the deepest QB room in the country. One week at a time and focus on our team and control what we can, attitude and execution. What a great year for college football and to be a Texas fan. Whining from the yacht is pretty fun compared to screaming from a sinking lifeboat just a few years ago!!
