    Yes, CJ, please use your press conference question in week 4 of the season to ask Sark if he plans on firing his OL coach. I’m sure that will get a great response full of valuable information to share with the board.

    You just had DJ Lagway throw 5 interceptions and only scored 20 points at home. A week after you scored 23 points against Louisiana Tech. It was a legitimate and valid question and Kelly had no right to blow up on the dude like that. The biggest issue I see is a lot of coaches think the media and reporters asking them questions should be fanboys and bow down after every game.

    Kelly calling the reporter “spoiled” like the media is supposed to root for the program and their success. It was a completely valid question. LSU has scored 17, 23 and 20 points through 3 games despite returning of the best QB’s in the country. Their rushing game is an averaging awful 3.7 yards per carry.

    Defense- 8 returning starters (Simmons, Guilbeau, Muhammad, McDonald, Taaffe, Lefau, Hill, Burke, Moore). Offense- 3 returning starters, two of which aren't even playing this weekend (Wisner, Moore). DJ Campbell is the only starter this weekend who also started the Ohio State game last January. It's been two games. Let it play out.

    OU was not a top 10 team in 2023. They were ranked 12th.

    He never told us about Quinn Ewers being hurt? The guy didn’t play in 3 games. That’s kind of self explanatory.

    We likely cover yesterday if Gibson doesn’t cough up the ball. Sark even made a point of mentioning postgame that he wanted the second string guys running the real offense and wasn’t just going to take knees on the final drive. As is the case most of the time when a line is 35+ points, the ability to cover is probably going to come down to if your second and third string can execute late in the game. Will be the same this coming Saturday.

    Why are people trying to continue to make this a thing? He wouldn’t be playing halfway into the 4th quarter against San Jose State if he was hurt. Period.

    If I’m not mistaken, Texas was playing with 5 man boxes at times. Zero respect or concern with SJSU’s running game. All about stopping the pass.

    If enough people get upset, the pocketbooks will open up. It's Alabama. They have motivated donors who care. A lot.

    His buyout is structured so that they would have to pay him in equal monthly installments through 2031. That isn't as burdensome as the buyouts where coaches are due a lump sum right away or within 30 days. The ability to spread out the payments could make it more realistic that he is let go. I do think if they miss the playoffs this year, he will likely be shown the door. Whether fair or not.

    San Jose State allowed 12 sacks the entire season last year. I don't think they are going to allow Eget to sit back there and go through progressions. Their offense isn't built that way. He threw 7 passes last week 20+ yards down the field and most of them are just go balls. They are actually going to test our secondary a bit which is a good thing.

    There is nothing he can say in a press conference to make anyone feel better about the red zone. It’s going to have to happen on the field. And like the second statement out of his mouth today was something about everyone in the organization, coaches and players, learning and improving from that game. I get that’s not what you are looking for. You’ve made that pretty clear. It’s a college football head coach press conference after a loss so there is a narrow path to success.

    His act is old. Look at his posting history. He is never on here after good news and has been kicked off most Texas message boards. Pokes fun at the mods on Twitter, finds the most negative in every situation and then dances on graves.

    Good to see we've reached the point in the season where people get angry at canned press conference responses and that all our problems weren't fixed by talking into a microphone. You are lying to yourself if you believe Steve Sarkisian could say anything into a microphone to make you feel better about the red zone.

    We obviously disagree about this. Kicking a FG from the 1 foot line to make a one possession game, a one possession game, has nothing to do with going for 50s every time vs 100s. It's called simple game theory. If the score of the game is 7-0, you need a touchdown. Kicking a FG from the 1 foot line makes the score 7-3. You know what is required when a score is 7-3? A touchdown. So you just bypassed an opportunity from the 1 foot line for a TD in hopes of a later possession ending in a TD when you have shown very little offensive pulse all game. It isn't smart. It lowers win probability. You just had as good of a scoring chance as you ever get in the game of football and chose to bypass it in hopes of scoring on a different possession later on.

    It’s going to be tough to judge Clemson because their toughest game in ACC play is home against SMU. They play at South Carolina to end the year so good chance they are 10-1 or 9-2 heading into that game. Notre Dame has the run game to hang with anyone but that defense lost some key dudes from last year and CJ Carr is sure to go through some growing pains. The A&M game at home is now a must win for their season basically. They may not play another ranked team after that.

    We get it dude, whatever take paints Steve Sarkisian in the most negative light is the one you are going to push. You also said this before the game, so which is it?

    Not the time to give a guy his first college action coming off an Achilles tear, or trot out a guy with chronic fumbling issues. I'm sure they will get plenty of carries the next 3 weeks.

    This is 2025. Arch Manning and Quinn Ewers aren't going to AJ Milwee for extended footwork and release point help. They have highly compensated personal QB coaches who they work with all year. That's not to say Milwee and Sark can't help with it or have discussions about it, but it's like blaming Juan Soto's baseball swing on the Mets hitting coach.

    You have shown zero offensive pulse all game. You are going to need to score a TD at some point. You are at the one foot line. All a FG does is require you drive down again and score a TD, which looked like a daunting task up to that point. You do not kick a FG from the 1 foot line in that situation. Ever. It is just flat wrong to adjust otherwise. It lowers your win probability in every way, making a one possession game, a one possession game.

    Pretending a FG was the right call when it is 4th and ONE FOOT and you are down 7-0 isn’t serious. It would be like getting a 11 in blackjack with the dealer showing a 16 and choosing to stand.
