  1. Great discussion on Georgia’s 2025 roster, fellas.
  2. It takes just a few seconds to check and make sure you aren't getting trolled, man. Look at the twitter name.
  3. Sark has to have him on a joystick. I do not think we are operating with the full playbook but we are also way too deep into this year to make a change. It’s just hope at this point. There isn’t a dominant team in college football and Georgia is really the only team we match up extremely poorly against.
  4. To the greatest high school football game of all time

  5. He’s started games this season and has spent basically two full years in the system. If he needs to throw a few second half passes against Kentucky and hand the ball off a bunch to feel ready then we are screwed anyway. He’s had real game reps. This isn't Garrett Gilbert.
  6. Not true. There is a week off between the conference title games and first round. CFP games start December 19th.
  7. Some of reasons he is going pro actually have very little do with play on the field: 1) This is an extremely weak QB class and there are at least 6-7 teams that will be looking to take one relatively early. 2) Sometimes it’s not the worst thing in the world to go in the 2nd or 3rd round to a place where you will get development time instead of going to the Browns in the first round and being thrown into the fire right away with a terrible franchise. 3) He has now missed multiple games with injury in 3 straight seasons. Whether it was bad luck or not, he is going to carry an injury prone tag with some and if he returns and gets hurt again, it’s only going to hurt him more. He has very little to gain from returning. 12 additional games aren’t going to magically ease all the concerns NFL GM’s will already have about him. I don’t know why it’s so damn hard for some to just wish a highly successful QB at Texas well and move on without all the drama and hot takes. I sure wish some of yall had our fanbase looking over your shoulder at work awaiting your next mistake so they can replace you.
  8. Let me guess…Facebook?
  9. You don’t know what their DT allocation is this cycle. Of course DT’s are expensive. I don’t think anyone at Texas thinks otherwise, but if Charles runs up his price so much that it means Texas can’t get the immediate help they also need in the portal, what do you do? Accounting decisions come into play in all these situations. Of course you want 3-4 elite HS DT’s and 2-3 more good portal dudes but the money tree ain’t endless.
  10. This recruitment might be an important lesson in the “just win” recruitnik thinking. Times have changed.
  11. I wouldn’t even engage with him. He has been kicked off of pretty much every Texas message board out there. Isn’t even a Texas fan. The horror of a coach going 17-3 the last two years with Quinn Ewers at QB after coaching a bunch of NFL QB’s the last decade. How will we ever recover from this QB crisis?
  12. There were bridges in the Lacy recruitment that Texas didn't want to burn. He has a chance to be a good player in his own right. With the portal in play and Dia Bell committed in '26, you can easily absorb potential QB misses. I wouldn't lose sleep over the Russell recruitment.
  13. Can’t really say he is deserving of snaps over Burke, Sorrell, Simmons or Moore.
  14. Temple is a job you take to collect a paycheck and buyout after 3 or 4 years.
  15. Does Ole Miss beating Georgia offset the fact they probably have the two worst losses of any 10-2 team looking to get in (Kentucky, LSU)? I know everyone has penciled them in at 10-2 but their SOS will be lower than Texas’ at the end of the year and their non con schedule was Furman, Middle Tennessee State, Georgia Southern and Wake Forest.
  16. HC has a large say in non-football sports. UConn and the conference slate aren’t too far off. Feels like every year you see less and less on-campus non conference matchups featuring two big name programs. They are always at neutral sites or in tournaments for some reason.
  17. Why did Missouri schedule them? And Iowa State? And BYU? And Kansas State? And Utah? And LSU? Welcome to college basketball, where beating a horrible team by 70 sometimes helps your NET ranking more than beating a good team by 2. It’s a broken system and until they fix NET teams will continue to do this.
  18. The only thing that slightly gives me pause is Kentucky had a bye last week and has Murray State this week, so they get 3 weeks of Texas prep. It shouldn’t matter but just something to file away.
  19. Interested in hearing @Gerry Hamilton’s opinion on this decision because Florida’s recruiting right now is not good at all and I can’t imagine the 2026 class will be much better.
  20. Was with Sark at Washington and USC. I bet there would be a nice analyst spot available for him at Texas if he isn’t retained.
  21. Having Bama the following week is likely the basket Auburn is going to put all their eggs in, especially after last year and the 4th and 30.
  22. The coach that loses the Bama-LSU game next week is going to have fans putting for sale signs in their yard. A&M gets to start their Texas prep today. New Mexico State and Auburn pose zero threat. Hugh Freeze is reaching new lows every week. If Georgia sneaks out of Oxford with a win they are sitting pretty. Tennessee has not looked right all year but did just enough to beat Bama and will probably sneak into the playoff at 10-2.
  23. Buy/Sell: Miami will be ranked ahead of Texas in the first CFP rankings Also, how do you think the committee will handle the fact Texas has faced 4 ranked opponents but 3 of them have fallen out of the rankings after Texas played them? Is the strength of schedule argument overblown a bit?
