  1. Maybe push for isn’t the right phrase, but the very site said we decided not to match the NIL for Simeon. Don’t think we were sweating Henderson’s decision today knowing that will go all the way to December. Krempin and Roseborough we didn’t have slotted into spots where it was worth the NIL. When Bryce Perry Wright announces for A&M “over Texas” next week are we going to consider that a miss? When we stopped going all in after getting Wesley. Not all decisions are equal.
  2. If you actually believe Texas pushed for and didn’t land all 8 of these guys, you must be new to recruiting. Just because a guy officially visited Texas doesn’t mean it is a “miss” if he doesn’t commit here. Texas brought in 44 official visitors for a class that will under 30 guys.
  3. Unless it was free, it still cost money. And the discount for a 5-star OOS edge rusher probably is full price for a lot of other prospects.
  4. Do you think the 3 out of state DT's we currently have were cheap? Or Richard Wesley? Or our 5-star QB? Or Jermaine Bishop? Or any of the remaining 5-star OL targets we have on the board? I'm not saying we are broke but I also don't understand the logic that we have all this money burning a hole in our pocket.
  5. Yeah, because that is against the rules lmao. You can't tweet at prospects. Already been deleted.
  6. Okay so 25/27 hit rate. Point still stands that they aren’t clickbait.
  7. Every hi last cycle ended up as a public commitment except for Javion Hilson. So yeah, the hit rate is pretty good. No need to call someone a brown noser as the guy who walks around campus taking photos all the time and posting them on multiple sites.
  8. Players telling the staff they are coming isn’t clickbait and 9/10 times ends in a public commitment.
  9. It’s 12-12 at Texas, 10-5 the last 2 years. We know you don’t like Sark. We get it. You’ve made it clear on every message board you’ve been on, and at this point you’ve probably been on all of them. You are beating a dead horse at this point.
  10. I think there was 4 but Calicut may have been one so it might be down to 3.
  11. He never said that. He had a long post on this very site talking about how winning around 40% of the recruiting battles would be impressive considering the level of prospect.
  12. Phillips was committed here originally so that wasn’t really a true flip. Point remains. 3 or 4 members of a 25 man class were flips. That isn’t what I would consider relying on flips.
  13. They won’t? We will be at 20+ commitments by the time the ball is kicked off in Columbus. 3 total players last year were flips in a 25 man class.
  14. You do realize we had very few flips last year and the year prior, right?
  15. Who did we rely on last year to suck? Your act is better when you are weirdly laughing at everyone’s posts.
  16. Land one what? Land a player? We will land quite a few of those over the next month so rest easy.
  17. It is media/picture day for the current team and that is the backdrop. Not everything in life and on Twitter is tied to recruiting.
  18. Some of y’all need to learn there is a long runway between making contact with a kid and actually pushing for them. Texas probably contacts 150 kids a cycle.
  19. There were some big misses. I remember a lot of people being excited about the DL class of Ross/Bledsoe/Bryant/Swanson. The defensive class in general was pretty much a total bust outside of Ethan Burke and Guilbeau.
  20. You’ve now stated this on multiple boards in the Texas market. Not a great way to make friends. Let people do their jobs. You are the only who thinks paid employees of these sites are just purposely withholding information from you for the fun of it.
  21. I get what you are trying to say but Texas is spending $30+ million on their roster this year. People trying to question if they are “willing to play ball” is tiring. You can’t say you understand not wanting to overpay then turnaround and say but I kind of want them to overpay.
