Couldn’t agree more. I think Kanu is gonna be a monster this year.

For those who care, they have Arch as the #3 returning qb, Cam the #5 returning WR, Goosby #3 at OT. No Texas players at the top 10 of their position at RB, TE, OG, C, or DT.

Sick dance moves, @Joe Zura

I’m sorry to hear that, brother. Marriage is hard. I don’t have any advice, but just wanted to offer my solidarity and good wishes. I hope you make it through this.

Oh man, I forgot that D Will was in that class. I remember following the box scores in the DMN for all of those guys. It was a fun year to follow Texas HS basketball.

Since you mentioned Bosh, I’ve been remembering that 2001-02 Dallas Lincoln basketball team that went 40-0 and won the state championship. I went to watch the 4A championship game between Lincoln and Beaumont Ozen—Chris Bosh vs. Kendrick Perkins. That 2002 Texas high school basketball class had a lot of star power—Bosh, Perkins, Bracey Wright, Daniel Horton.

First he loves Flood, then he hates him, then he loves him. First he hates basketball, then he loves it.

Now that Jonah Williams will be out until at least the start of the season, they will need to manufacture talented safety depth. That will mean getting creative. Hopefully they are open to something like Black taking snaps at safety.

How dare you. This is a Vonlane outfit here.

Might want to switch allegiances to @Joe Zura’s Ducks or @CJ Vogel’s Sooners.

Hard to argue with this list, but I’m kinda souring on DeBoer a bit. He had much more shine pre-bama. But his offenses have not come close to what I expected and there’s a bit of softness in that bama program. Honestly a bit surprising. But I’m not sure how long he lasts there. I don’t see him ever winning it all at bama, and those fans are going to get restless soon.

It’s Garrett Gilbert’s squint all over again. The season can’t get here fast enough.

I hear duck ball soup is quite good actually. But not sure you’d get $2.7M for them.

Only when a new whataburger opens down the street.

First and most importantly, OTF has been the best in the business from the very beginning. And yet, you continue to grow and improve as time goes on. I’m not sure if it’s just the hiring of @Hank South, but I’ve noticed a really clear and impressive ramp-up in content quality and quantity lately. Hiring Hank gives the staff more flexibility to really address the topics they know and are passionate about, and it also makes the staff much more versatile and deep. Finally, the long-form analysis pieces have become a key part of OTF’s value proposition as a website. The YT channel has been impeccable from the very start, but I’m starting to see @Bobby Burton’s vision for the site too. Yall never cease to impress. Kudos to the whole staff for stepping it up even more. The results are obvious. I can’t wait to see how this community continues to grow and evolve.

Atkinson and Smoke both look like grown-ass men

If you close your eyes and sit really still, you can still hear the faintest whisper of Hashtag being insufferable.

He’s closing in on MJ for #5 all time in scoring. Depending on his longevity, he has a shot at eventually moving past Kareem. Most likely IMO he will retire between Kareem and Malone at #3. But he’s still going strong, so who knows?

You’d better stay on his good side by not launching into another two-week Kyle Flood tirade
