    I had almost forgotten what it was like dealing with OU and A&M fans simultaneously. It’s like fighting wars on two different fronts against the armies of stupidity. And just when the Sooners went dormant during their disastrous season and the Aggie stupidity had become almost unbearable, Alabama goes and craps all over itself and we have to deal with the trailer park boys again.

    This guy probably needs to worry a bit more about Colin Simmons pantsing him, so I guess I don’t blame him for focusing less on Ant. All I’ll say to them is good luck. South Carolina and Auburn ate against them, and our defense is better than either.

    Apparently they didn’t learn after Gabe Ikard called Ant the worst player in the Texas front 7 and he proceeded to destroy OU for 11 tackles, 3.5 TFL, 2 sacks, and a FF. That Aggie OT is about to FAFO.

    @Gerry Hamilton if Texas loses Charles, does that mean: Texas tries to flip lower-tier DT recruits like Chace Sims, they try to money-whip elite recruits like Justus Terry, Lance Jackson is more likely to move inside, or Sark cuts his recruiting losses and goes even harder for interior DL in the portal?

    To me, TE and DT will be the biggest portal needs, along with a speedy #1 receiver.

    TE. Gonna be a huge drop off after Helm leaves. #1 type receiver 2-3 DTs 1 corner (Barron leaving) 1 safety (Mukuba leaving) maybe 1 LB

    Does this year’s elite secondary play vindicate Terry Joseph? Was it simply a matter of getting the right Jimmys and Joes? Why can’t our “large humans” go maul in the run game like we all expect them to? DJ and Cam certainly have their moments, but I don’t understand why we aren’t a better downhill rushing offense.

    No doubt! But they’ve had several cups of coffee in the league, and it just goes to show you how rough we’ve had it at corner for over a decade.

    Is the starting CB duo the best since Holton Hill and Kris Boyd? Curtis Brown and Aaron Williams? Ced Griffin and Aaron Ross? I’m not sure, but they have been absolutely stellar this year. I haven’t seen Texas have two lockdown corners like this in years.
