  1. Bobby and Gerry said on one of the shows today that they expected Singleton and Hunter in tonight or tomorrow.
  2. Kinda bummed we didn’t go after him, but I guess the staff is happy with Manny M and Kobe Black as the two starters. Hard to argue with that.
  3. Actually, he’s had a worse season than Tyanthony Smith: one fewer tackle, the SAME number of sacks and TFL, but Smith has an INT!
  4. No Oregon either. With us getting the last shot at him, I like our chances.
  5. I think Nansen will be a great judge of whether he’s worth bringing in. If we go after him, it means that Nansen thinks he can be a strong contributor. If we don’t, it means there are better options out there.
  6. Go get that dude on campus and pay the man! Feels like a big fish at DT that you can’t let get away.
  7. Would they break the bank for Singleton? The report is that he’s seeking $2 million. That feels counter to Texas’s MO the last few years. Do they think he’s good enough to break their own rule?
  8. That team might be FSU 2.0 next year, especially with that schedule.
  9. OU with another BRUTAL schedule: Texas, @South Carolina, Ole Miss, and @Tennessee in four straight weeks. Then @Alabama, Mizzou, and LSU to end the year. Plus they have a home OOC game vs Michigan. Ol’ Burnt Vegetables is staring face to face with getting fired.
  10. No home games in the month of October, including a very difficult road game in Gainesville followed by Red River. And then three straight weeks to end the season we get @Georgia and at home vs Arkie and Aggy. I do like that we end the year twice at home, but definitely won’t be easy.
  11. My question is, would we prefer Dalton Johnson or Dillon Thieneman at safety?
  12. Venables better KILL it in the portal or he’s toast. His roster is now noticeably worse than it was two days ago, and that’s saying something.
  13. Having seen them both play, I personally would have kept Van Buren over Arnold. But I guess Lebby knows both players better than anyone.
  14. The following are stats from two true freshman edges in 2022 and 2024. One received 1st team all SEC, while the other didn’t even receive 3rd team. Can you guess the players? Player A: 39 solo tackles, 13 TFL, 7.5 sacks, 1 INT, 4 FF Player B: 27 solo tackles, 13 TFL, 8 sacks, 0 INT, 3 FF
  15. According to PFF, Taffe was the highest graded safety in the country. It’s egregious.
  16. Pretty egregious that the best defense in the country got a total of 3 players across all three teams.
  17. @Gerry Hamilton @Bobby Burton Would Flood have any interest in guys like Ethan Onianwa from Rice or Josh Thompson from Northwestern? These are highly productive, experienced future NFL draft picks that would instantly stabilize the OL. I just have a very hard time imagining that Sark would allow Arch to play behind a completely green OL. That feels like a potential disaster.
  18. Good to know. I was wondering why he had such a down year. Also makes me wonder if he’s a bit of a reach in the portal. Probably going to be better options out there.
  19. He had a great year in 2023, but his numbers were way down this year. He feels like a good, solid veteran depth piece to replace Gbenda, but he’s not as explosive as Hill or Lefau. It’s hard to see him starting or even playing significant minutes next year if he were to transfer here.
  20. I still can’t believe we lost to THIS Georgia team.
  21. I had almost forgotten what it was like dealing with OU and A&M fans simultaneously. It’s like fighting wars on two different fronts against the armies of stupidity. And just when the Sooners went dormant during their disastrous season and the Aggie stupidity had become almost unbearable, Alabama goes and craps all over itself and we have to deal with the trailer park boys again.
  22. This guy probably needs to worry a bit more about Colin Simmons pantsing him, so I guess I don’t blame him for focusing less on Ant. All I’ll say to them is good luck. South Carolina and Auburn ate against them, and our defense is better than either.
  23. Apparently they didn’t learn after Gabe Ikard called Ant the worst player in the Texas front 7 and he proceeded to destroy OU for 11 tackles, 3.5 TFL, 2 sacks, and a FF. That Aggie OT is about to FAFO.
