    Good point, but it will be interesting to see if she really wants to play in a mid level team that hasn't been to the World Series in 20 years (2008) and is surrounded by the 3 best powerhouses in the county (OU, Tech and UT).

    So interesting that we have so many players/recruits in all sports are from southern California (3 Mater Dei starters on our offense alone!),,,,, many others on various rosters throughout the program. Three major factors: - the best California schools are in the Big 10 (SC/UCLA/Wash/Oregon) and ACC (Stanford/Cal)- miserable amount of travel for these secondary sports - direct flights to Austin, and - Austin's overall vibe compared to places like Lubbock, Norman, Lincoln, College Station etc........ It''s a real pipeline for all of our sports.

    Not too concerned about the girl going to OU. The next great softball pitcher after Teagan leaves in 2 years is expected to be Avery Dunlap from Salado... She is class of 2029 and is only 15 years old but already on the U18 national team and throws in the mid 70's. She was all state as a freshman. I trust Mike White to keep us in the Top 3 over the foreseeable future.

    What was Livingstone's snap count? Maybe 3 snaps, 1 target, 8 yards, 1 fumble.......hope he enjoys his paychecks - he will be working at Home Depot in 2 years.

    I'm with Gerry, prefer 16, but 24 is better than 12. Those home field playoff games will have fantastic atmosphere

    Love it....hopefully the two BB coaches at LSU also get the same message - I could see LSU getting kicked out. If Bama, Ole Miss, Florida wants them out, who is going to save them - they will have a hard time recruiting against the SEC and the rest of the SEC knows that. When Nebraska left the Big 12, they were arguably one of the top 10 programs in the county. Now they aren't even top 10 of the Big 10 schools

    This game is really an indictment on Wisner's ceiling (or lack thereof)......amazing that he ran for 1000 yards in the SEC and is 3rd team on an ACC also ran...

    She screwed up many coaching decisions: Womens Swimming Track and Field Soccer - Kelly - 4 wins last year Basketball - Coach G from Duke set us back many years CDC gets credit for Softball (Mike White), Basketball (Vic S) Yippee - she hired the rowing coach and recruited solid foreigners for Tennis - both those sports benefit from Texas' international brand She got paid well, is anyone going to miss her? - good riddance!!

    What is sad for Tre is that two backs ahead of him are a LOT better and younger. I wish him well, sports at a high level are pure meritocracies...in hindsight, he was smart to grab a bag while he could - same for Livingstone.

    They look awful, disinterested. Wish we had a 6.0' 2 time national championship setter sitting on the bench - Ella has to be laughing at this abomination. Elliot made this same mistake when he brought Carlson on, The new serving style is horrible - these girls aren't ready for jump serves. So many errors, just serve it in play. AVW is struggling, horrible at blocking and provides no offense - ASU is clearly attacking her.

    Rooting hard for Audrey Bryant, sophomore out of Ursuline/Dallas, Gatorade POY in Texas, started all last year. She is also a great pickleball player (played her many times)!

    Sounds like a great pickup.....one wonders if Gasparino had positive things to say about his time at Texas and if that had any influence on his decision to pick Texas

    Stud? 8 goals in 30 matches - not very studly....Haavland averages over a goal per match in the World Cup 11 turnovers in 45 minutes - that shut down our attack!! Pulisic is dreadful on defense and Malik Tillman has replaced him on set pieces (thank god).

    Pulisic has always been overrated...the european teams know to be physical with him. He should only be brought in the second half - he does nothing defensively and they attacked his side all night. That was Belgium's plan and we are likely done unfortunately

    Weiner overcoached this....these bullpen guys aren't major league pitchers and often can't find the strike zone. We had 7 consecutive walks last night!!

    This could/should backfire into Cody Campbell's and Yormack's face..... Every Big 10/SEC team should call out this hypocrisy and agree to never schedule these clowns again in any sport and black ball them from the super conferences. No one cares about Tech and its best to ignore them - and now we have a legit reason to do so

    Expand the "Watch w Me" podcasts to include women's playoff VB, BB, and Softball games.....

    With Mendoza and Pendegrass getting healthy and Robbins coming back, our depth should be fine, with many players that can play multiple positions on defense (Temo, Borba, Mendoza)

    Great stuff, I would put SMU in ahead of Okie State. Probably need to include UCLA, North Carolina and Mich State somewhere....but its tough to pick only 32.

    College football has twice the viewership as the "never call a travel" NBA and is $5B behind the NBA in collective TV revenue- moving to a playoff system that involves 24 teams, replacing the conf championships and irrelevant bowl games will help close that gap - not to mention having 80,000 fans at 8 more meaningful playoff games - it adds up to a lot of coin that could fund the other sports. Its too much $$ to leave on the table and I think the Big 10 was smart to get all the other conferences allied behind them and force the SEC to go along. Think about it: gate revenues of 80,000 fans x 8 more games x $300 per ticket is $192M.     LSU really did Harold Perkins a disservice....Consensus 5 star, top recruit in the state. He should have stayed as a spot pass rusher playing 30 snaps a game - a bit undersized but has speed that kills. He's their Drew Kelson, played out of position, constantly changing roles, wasted a great talent.
