OTF Premium 2026 Five-Star Teases Texas Visit (Thursday PM)

2026 University Lab (La.) OT/DL Lamar Brown teased a trip to Austin Thursday evening on Twitter. Brown is considered a consensus five-star prospect and the No. 1 player in the state of Louisiana. I mention both lines of scrimmage above because early on in Brown's recruitment, there was a mix of both sides early on in his recruitment. I would expect him to be an offensive lineman on the interior at the next level. I spoke with Brown around this time last year where he said he would have plenty of interest in visiting the Longhorns, but did not have anything in place to make the trip a reality. Since then, Brown has not visited Texas. But, LaAllen Clark did stop by University Lab this afternoon, a part of his recruiting territory, and thus the tweet was sent by Brown. North Crowley 27 CB Jerry Outhouse Jr. tells me the Texas staff has been keepin up with him this spring. Outhouse said he talked a bit to the Texas staff when they visited.

Kyle Flood stopped by North Crowley last week for a practice. Turntine mentioned he is absolutely feeling like a priority to the Longhorn staff.

Turntine tells me a decision could come as early as July 4th. OV’s now set to Michigan, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Texas.

North Crowley has a pair of freakish 2028 WRs that have started to blow up this spring. #2 Damarion Mays holds a Texas offer. Up to about 12 offers currently #3 Hayden Green received a Texas A&M offer in April.

Great read! Thanks for sharing. It doesn't take much to see the talent Arch possesses. Unfortunately for some, the logo on the helmet will prevent them from ever acknowledging how talented he truly is.

I think he would have very high interest after speaking with him today. But sounds like Texas has other DB prospects in mind at the moment.

Donovan Webb says Texas told him last week he will start hearing more from them. Though, communications remain a bit light. Webb did say Texas was a school he always grew up rooting for. Orphey and Akina were the two he heard from earlier in the process. Obviously Orphey stopped by within the last week as well.
