  1. I will be winning this year. Thanks for playing everyone!
  2. Running back room was so fun to watch go through drills last week. There have been years where there were noticeable dips at the position after the top guy or so. Not in 2026. Texas goes 7 deep, with four in a position to give you really solid production whenever need be.
  3. Should Texas win the play-in, they will face BYU at 10:05 pm CST on Thursday night. Going to be a very late evening for some.
  4. Longhorns will await the winner of #16 Missouri State and #16 SFA for their round one game. Waiting in round two will be #8 Oregon and #9 Virginia Tech.
  5. Longhorns are the No. 3 overall seed and get the #1 seed in the Fort Worth region.
  6. UCLA and LSU in the same quadrant is significant news for Texas' draw.
  7. UCLA is named the No. 2 seed in the tournament. I would suspect Texas to come in at 3.
  8. UConn is the No. 1 overall seed.
  9. Three outs away from a series win over Ole Miss. See if the Horns can add any additional insurance.
  10. Strange play and Larson gets doubled up. Not sure about that one.
  11. Love staying aggressive even when up 5. Get to ten and let's end this one early before the wind really picks up.
  12. This is the type of performance I was expecting to see on Sundays this year. Volantis shutting things down in the top half, then the sticks scrapping together runs.
  13. Casey Borba has been absolutely unreal lately.
  14. Beyer mentioned he really enjoyed watching Colin Simmons and Alex January on Friday morning as well.
  15. Texas hosted 2027 All Saints Episcopal (TX) DL Kingston Beyer for an unofficial visit and spring practice on Friday. On Texas Football caught up with the 6-foot-3-inch defensive lineman about the visit and his growing relationship with defensive line coach Kenny Baker. ”I mean it’s great with Coach (Kenny) Baker,” Beyer said. “He’s a straight shooter and you know where you’re at.” At the moment the Longhorns have yet to offer Beyer, however his interest in the Longhorns remains high especially in the player development side. ”Texas development is where it’s at — it’s a place where you can get developed and put in the league.” Beyer currently holds 12 offers at the moment and has plans to visit North Texas, Wisconsin, UNLV, San Diego State, Tulsa and Oklahoma State over the next month. “I loved the visit for sure, and would be excited to get back.” For now, Beyer will be a name to file away until a potential return campus is scheduled.
  16. Jonah Williams gets part of the action as well.
