  1. Texas won’t go down quietly here
  2. The photo shoot happened earlier this week at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
  3. I have heard a couple of times now that both Steve Sarkisian and Arch Manning declined the invitation to be on the cover for College Football 26. The cover was leaked Wednesday night, featuring Jeremiah Smith, Bryce Underwood, DJ Lagway, Garrett Nussmeier, Jeremiyah Love, Ryan Williams, Dylan Stewart, Caleb Downs and Sam Leavitt.
  4. Just reiterating and adding to what we have discussed over the last week or two about Christian Clark and his recovery from his Achilles injury. I was told that the redshirt freshman running back is out of support braces and splints when working out. Clark is not quite at 100% in the weight room, but is very close. Of course, last week we discussed Clark's recovery timeline following the photo released of him front squatting 275 pounds. Steve Sarkisian in his Monday press conference singled out Clark's recovery, adding that he was "pleasantly surprised" with the progress made so far. The typical Achilles injury recovery timeline is set for 6–9 months. Given that the injury occurred in the early part of August, it is worth mentioning that this would but Clark at six months and a week essentially since the injury occurred originally. Again, Clark will be limited this spring. However, it remains a great sign that additional support for his achilles is not necessary in weight room training sessions. Positive news.
  5. Taking out LT – RB Derrek Cooper is up there for me. I am also a huge fan of Jameion Winfield, the DT from Richardson.
  6. Here’s his post. https://x.com/derek2_williams/status/1899485069586166168?s=46&t=Ub-Nd-rB5dZFsU1DAI7tyg
  7. Texas DB Derek Williams Jr. shared a photo of him working out with the team during winter conditioning. Of course, Williams was listed yesterday by Steve Sarkisian as one of the players who would be limited during the spring OTAs as he returns to full strength after tearing his ACL in the Oklahoma game. Good sign as he continues to build towards a return.
  8. A win is a win and we don’t complain about wins.
  9. This has not been a great start for Texas at the plate with runners on.
  10. Ole Miss made a strong push in the 4th after being down 15. Honestly a pretty good test for the Horns who will be seeing that level of pressure and desperation from opponents from here on out. Onto the semis.
