I’m sure many have seen this already, but wanted to share it to the board. Unbelievable video on the hand size of Texas commit Brody Bumila. Projected top 10 pick in the MLB Draft.

For reference, that's about 10-14 pounds heavier than what Devin Duvernay played at at Texas.

A few track sessions in the Boot will get him to even out lol But in all seriousness, there's a reason why LSU, Florida and Texas have all pitched using Royal out of the backfield in their plans for him.
  4. CJ Vogel
That's where I had envisioned him. Right at 205.
  5. CJ Vogel
I havent tried that yet. On the list.

Mostly the Nicholls State WRs. Sometimes a big college WR will come in, but not often.

Costello's brother committed to South Carolina five days ago. He's on campus at SCar now,

Defintiely a big piece of their offense lol Here are his passing grades from PFF by direction and distance.

I will try to knock out two birds with one stone here. Owen McCown at QB and now-Ohio State WR Devin McCuin

    Adding two more.

Another QB on the schedule throwing this weekend.

Sure. But SEC arms are a little different than the Big West. 38 of 41 hits in 2026 were singles. I will say having more walks than strikeouts is a fantastic trait. Would be fine in the 9-hole to lead into the top of the order for Pack, Armstrong, Solitaria, Rodriguez. Though I suspect there’s another OF addition and we see him essentially as the 4th OF option.

This take strikes me as a 4th outfielder option.

Oklahoma hit more home runs in their final 16 games than their first 45 games. It’s the whole reason for their run. It matters.

I was told a week ago from an mlb source that they’d be surprised if he wasn’t on campus next year.

Yes. That’s more of what I mean. Balanced 1–9 power. Doesn’t even need to be HR, but extra base hit ability. Something that isn’t super predictable to pitch against.

    Portal additions so far: 3B Linkin Garcia — 4 HR … .877 OPS C Ian Armstrong — 16 HR … 1.069 OPS OF Sawyer Solitaria — 16 HR … .954 OPS OF Trevor Goldenetz — 0 HR … .895 OPS I suspect there’s room for one more OF.

I sit here and wonder if Texas will have the top end power/HR ability that we saw in the heart of the order in 2026. I still suspect they aren’t done, but we will see.

I tend to agree. A good ole fashioned contact speedster from the bottom of the order who can play all 3 spots in the outfield.

Von Lane is the perfect combination of luxury and efficiency. I will not be convinced otherwise! (I am not a paid actor)
