  1. Another three-up, three-down inning for Volantis, who has 11 strikeouts through six (86 pitches).
  2. Becerra strikes out looking to end the fifth. Seven runners left on base through five for the Longhorns, but the go-ahead run crossed the plate in a one-run, one-hit fifth.
  3. A-Rod's second walk of the night makes it first and third with two outs for Becerra. Temo is 0-for-2 tonight with a strikeout and a groundout.
  4. Tinney advanced to third on Mendoza's sacrifice fly, putting a run 90 feet from home with two outs for A-Rod.
  5. Pack strikes out looking on a 3-2 count, but Mendoza does his job, flying out to the warning track in right-center to score Robbins and put Texas on top, 2-1.
  6. Robbins draws a walk and Tinney singles, putting runners in scoring position for Pack with nobody out in the bottom of the fifth.
  7. Pendergrass grounds out with two outs and runners in scoring position, ending the inning.
  8. Lefty Dane Bjorn replaced McDevitt at the start of the inning.
  9. Two outs in the bottom of the fourth, but A-Rod is on third, representing the go-ahead run.
  10. Mendoza grounds out to second on McDevitt’s 32nd pitch of the inning. The Longhorns get a run across, but they leave the bases loaded in the third.
  11. A six-pitch walk for Pack loads the bases with two outs for Mendoza. It’s a 30-pitch inning for McDevitt.
  12. Pack doesn’t get the call on what could’ve been called a ball on a 3-1 pitch.
  13. Very interested to see how ABS works in the SEC Tournament.
  14. Tinney works a walk, putting runners on first and second with two outs for Pack, who Schloss said on Wednesday is over his wrist issue, which flared up after doing a workout with a medicine ball in the weight room.
