  1. When the SEC unveils the TV windows for the remaining conference-controlled games in 2026 during a live SEC Network special on Wednesday (6 p.m.), Texas fans will be one step closer to knowing when the Longhorns will be kicking off every game of Steve Sarkisian’s sixth season. Still, the schedule isn’t expected to be set in stone. The SEC typically utilizes a six-day window to announce kickoff times for flexed regular-season games. If a firm start time isn’t given, the game will be assigned one of four potential kickoff windows: the early window, with a kickoff time between 11 a.m. and noon; the afternoon (2:30-3:30 p.m.); the evening (5-7 p.m.); or it will be flexed for either an afternoon or evening kickoff. Ahead of the TV window reveal, Texas has four game broadcasts locked in for the 2026 season: Sept. 5 — Texas State (2:30 p.m., ESPN) Sept. 12 — Ohio State (6:30 p.m., ABC) Sept. 19 — UTSA (7 p.m., SEC Network+) Nov. 27 — at Texas A&M (6:30 p.m., ABC) The following games are the other SEC games on the Longhorns’ schedule. OTF will update the TV windows for each game as they're announced on Wednesday: Sept. 26 — at Tennessee (11 a.m., ABC or ESPN) Oct. 10 — Oklahoma (2:30 p.m., ABC or ESPN) Oct. 17 — Florida (Early; 11 a.m.-noon) Oct. 24 — Ole Miss (Flex; Afternoon or Night) Oct. 31 — Mississippi State (Night; 5-7 p.m.) Nov. 7 — at Missouri (Early; 11 a.m.-noon) Nov. 14 — at LSU (Flex; Afternoon or Night) Nov. 21 — Arkansas (Afternoon; 2:30-3:30 p.m.)
  2. You’re thinking of Derrian Brown.
  3. Jalen Catalon. His body let him down.
  4. Shoutout to the late Jason Reeves, another No. 88.
  5. The long-armed rush of Cedric Reed was a weapon.
  6. He started last week. Kansas is excited to have him in the office.
  7. Cozart: "Winning that doesn't make us memorable here. Winning a Super Regional doesn't make you memorable at Texas. Winning a national championship does."
  8. "To be honest, I kind of blacked out after that last out," Rodriguez said when asked if he knew Texas only dogpiles in Omaha.
  9. Rodriguez: "It's always been a dream of mine to go to Omaha. I can't wait to get there and compete."
  10. Schloss: "That sign outside the door says 38 trips to Omaha. It's said 38 for a long time, so it feels good to put a different number up there."
  11. Schloss said they went with Brody Walls because he liked the way he's been trending and felt the moment wouldn't be too big for him. He credited Thomas Burns with minimizing the damage in his brief appearance.
  12. Schloss said he had to be mindful of what Texas would do tomorrow if it had to play a game. Still, he never lost confidence that his team would come through.
  13. Cozart said he didn't look at tonight like he was bouncing back from the regional. He said he doesn't even remember his last outing.
  14. Schloss said he would've brought Cozart into the game if the game had been tied. "We have supreme confidence in Sam," he said.
  15. Schloss: "You see these Super Regionals — it's never over until the absolute last pitch."
  16. Schloss opens his portion of the press conference by recognizing Scott Wilson and Augie Garrido. Those are the first two people he thought of when the game ended.
  17. "To beat Texas, you're going to have to beat a lot of Major Leaguers," Wasikowski said.
  18. "96 with a really hard slider and a breaking ball to go with it," Wasikowski said on what made Cozart tough to face. "Those guys could pitch in the big leagues tonight."
  19. Wasikowski said they went to Bell instead of Twist because of how good Pack has been against lefties this season. Bell is also better against lefties than righties, so Wasikowski felt it was the right move.
  20. "You'd probably be wise to credit the Texas offense for what they did," Wasikowski said when asked about the struggles the Oregon pitchers had. "That's an elite offense."
  21. "I don't know how many Major Leaguers they have in that lineup, but that's a ridiculous lineup," Wasikowski said of Texas.
