  1. Brown singles up the middle. Another forgettable inning continues.
  2. Two errors today. They've led to four of Tennessee's eight runs.
  3. Behind a complete game in the circle from Teagan Kavan, No. 6 Texas thumped No. 3 Alabama, 7-1, to win the championship game of the SEC Tournament at John Cropp Stadium in Lexington, Ky., on Saturday. The Longhorns, who entered the tournament as the No. 4 seed, defeated Ole Miss and No. 12 Georgia to reach the title game. Mike White’s club avenged a road series loss to the Crimson Tide in early April thanks in large part to Kavan, who scattered three hits, walked one and struck out 12 en route to the program’s first SEC Tournament crown. Texas (42-10) was led offensively by Katie Stewart. The SEC Player of the Year went 3-for-5 with two RBI, two runs scored and a solo home run, which capped the scoring in the top of the sixth. Alabama (49-7) took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first on an Alexis Pupillo solo home run. Kavan, however, buckled down and allowed only two hits the rest of the way, while the Longhorns scored seven consecutive runs, including a three-run fourth inning. Texas, which stayed at McCombs Field in the first two rounds of the postseason in 2025 on its way to winning the national championship. 5. Two-run single back up the middle by Temo. Robbins and Tinney score and it's a 6-5 game.
  6. Pack singles through the left side. The bases are loaded with one out for Becerra.
  7. Tinney works a walk. Well, Texas has the tying run at the plate with one out in the top of the fifth.
  8. Robbins works a walk. Hopefully, that gets something started for the Longhorns.
  9. The 6 (Borba), 7 (Courville), 8 (Monsour) and 9 (Gumbo) hitters today: 0-for-8 with four strikeouts.
  10. If we can agree on one thing, it's that this is all @Blake Munroe's fault.
  11. That's it for Harrison. Brett Crossland is out of the bullpen with the bases empty and two outs.
  12. The mistake bites Texas. Hard. A two-run home run puts the Vols up by three runs, 6-3.
  13. Harrison was out of the inning, but Tinney overthrew Borba on a dropped third strike. The inning continue with Wright on second and two outs.
  14. Ricky has been greatly misunderstood for most of his adult life. Thankfully, the last decade or so has given him a platform for people to know the man under the helmet.
  15. Borba and Courville put the ball in play, but both are retired.
