    Good question/topic. I think the problem you run into once you lock in so many permanent games is you end up with the same scheduling imbalances the SEC has had for years. Take Slurp as an example. Their top permanent game would be against us over the Thanksgiving weekend (and preferably, Thanksgiving). The next likely candidate is LSU, maybe, who, in turn, would also be a likely opponent of Alabama. Our three would not be a picnic either. The RRR is a rivalry game/tossup no matter the talent differential. And OU won’t be “down” for more than a few years. And Slrup/Arky are tough road environments and rivalries in their own right.

    The tough thing about this year for predictions is that it is a down year for CFB. Any year PSU is legitimately predicted to win the Big 10 is a down year. For UT, I think to be better than 10-2, you have to assume we will again run the table in our three rivalry games (counting Arky), if you assume a split in the UGA and tOSU matchups. That’s never a sure bet in any year.

    For folks following the Nuss injury, Brian Kelly said today that it is tendinitis in the knee. Sounds like he expects it to linger because it is a chronic condition for Nuss, and people deal with it "virtually every day in life." Link

    I think you would take a scholarship at ND, Vandy, Duke, Michigan, Wake Forest, or UNC as well over one from Slurp, unless you want to be an engineer.
