  1. Username checks out. Definitely the old cranky fan
  2. I can't wait brother. Props to both programs for scheduling this game, and not cancelling it once UT joined the SEC, and the B1G added the west coast teams.
  3. Geez man, lighten up. You must be fun at parties
  4. Yeah, any expectations of superstardom for Julian Sayin against Texas is pie in the sky stuff. I just hope he doesn't have multiple strip sacks by holding onto the ball too long.
  5. Your username checks out. Others counted it and shared it on social media lol. I believe Ohio State has the number in their facility as well.
  6. These aren't all of the recruits Ohio State is expecting, but these are the top recruits they are expecting this weekend - QB: 5* Champ Monds , Top50 Donald Tabor (‘28 QB’s) RB: 5* David Gabriel-Georges , 5* Kemon Spell, at least 5 other big names. WR: 5*’s Jamier Brown, Easton Royal, Monshun Sales, and Dakota Guerrant. 5* Eric McFarland (‘28) TE: 5* Brock Williams , two other big names OL: Too many to list. But massive OSU lean 4* Jimmy Kalis, and Top40 player Qua Ford from TX. Edge: 5* Anthony Sweeney, Top100’s Chris Whitehead, Reinaldo Perez DT: 4* Brayden Parks , Jameer Wyce (‘28) LB: Josiah Poyer (the big weekend for LB is PSU) CB: 4*’s Aaryn Washington and Danny Lang from Mater Dei , Ace Alston S: 4*’s Kaleb Elkins and Isala Wily-Ava. Quite a few others.
  7. Not a contest. Just a statement
  8. Interesting. I think he has put on the Brutus head gear 45 times in his career. Even if Corso though Texas was going to win, there's less than 1% chance he puts on anything other than Brutus.
  9. USC beat A&M & LSU last season, I'm not worried about them. Wisconsin & Iowa need to step up on the national stage, but again we're talking about the middle, not the top. The middle of the B1G last season beat South Carolina, Alabama, LSU, & Texas A&M. And the top of the B1G ran Tennessee out of the country and beat Texas in Dallas. I do really like Nebraska this season though.
  10. Yeah, I hear you. I think Ohio State (and Texas) should win a national championship every 6-7 years. Ohio State has definitely been once a decade though since 2000. 99.9% of programs would kill for that, but Ohio State & Texas should definitely be more than once a decade in my opinion.
  11. The B1G’s middle was better than the middle of the SEC as well last season, I think it’ll be again this season.
  12. As a Texas fan, I would think you would understand Texas has one national championship in how many years, and struggled in the Big 12. Let’s not act like Texas is the SEC
  13. Ah yes, the SEC and the Texas Longhorns. Such a long history.
  14. Oh, we're soft as sh*t. As long as the players aren't soft, I couldn't care less. Just win
  15. I'll see you here on 8/30 at 4pm
  16. They are all more physical than Texas?
  17. Have any of you played OL in high school or college? I have not, but it seems like it would impact the blocking for an edge rusher if you had a club or large bandage on your hand. Can anybody speak from experience?
  18. What the hell are you even talking about lol
  19. "Not as soft ass yankee" You're an idiot Maybe the OU/UT rivalry is different, but we don't play that. If you're a Michigan fan talking sh*t about our coach and his family and paying for recruits, we're not nearly as soft to let you just come into our stadium. Also, you're just Penn State to us. Win before you start going out calling other programs soft when you can't match the physicality of Georgia or Ohio State. We're going to find out a lot about who is softer on Saturday. 5/5 of Ohio State's OL are from the North. 4/5 are from the state of Ohio. Max Klare is from Ohio. Both of our linebackers are from Ohio, and 3/4 of our starting secondary are from the North. We'll see you on Saturday.
  20. For sure, can't argue with anything you just stated
  21. Where as the offensive success was based around the OL, it wasn't Denzel Burke leading the defensive success. It was more scheme and DL + Caleb Downs and the rest of the secondary.
  22. I'm going to move forward with the assumption Mosley will miss Saturday's game. I am also going to move forward with the assumption that Goosby WILL PLAY on Saturday. Will Goosby start? Is that the expectation, or just play at some point? Day is typically very secretive about injuries. Usually we don't find out until the 11am Gameday availability report, but so far there are no rumored injuries that Ohio State is dealing with.
