  1. In fairness to my prediction, Vegas has Ohio State’s o/u at 24.5. I don’t think it is unreasonable to think Ohio State gets a couple field goals or a short field touchdown off a turnover to get to 30-31 points.
  2. “2024 Michigan was a mess” Yes, that is kind of our point. Michigan still beat Alabama.
  3. “He’s still not 100%” In my humble opinion, Ohio State’s interior defensive line has an advantage over Texas’ IOL.
  4. In my opinion that wasn’t a “cheap” screen, it was a horrible defensive play call for that moment.
  5. Yes, I think Arch is going to struggle on 8/30. He may break off some long runs, but I don’t believe he will be very efficient throwing the ball.
  6. I have no clue how good either of those teams will be, but I know Michigan beat them two years in a row, so Alabama isn’t going to get the benefit of the doubt.
  7. - Ohio State’s defensive line will NOT be as good as last season. I think they will be very good and one of the best in the country but they will not be as good as last season - Ok, Goosby is very experienced. Maybe I’m being too disrespectful to Goosby, i apologize.
  8. I’m sure DJ is a quality player.
  9. I’m not saying I could do it, but I would assume broken fingers wouldn’t be enough to keep Goosby out of the game?
  10. In your opinion what would be the best Texas podcast to listen to for accurate and intelligent insights? I enjoy learning as much as possible about the teams Ohio State plays as well.
  11. I’m sorry your interactions with Ohio State fans haven’t been good, I truly mean that. In my personal opinion, I think most people who watched that game felt like Ohio State’s defensive line was dominant. Ohio State’s linebackers were dominated by Texas’ running backs in the passing game, l’m man enough to admit that. It is one thing that worries the sh*t out of me for 8/30.
  12. Much like Sark, Ryan Day’s bread and butter is the QB position. I honestly can’t remember the last time an OSU QB had more than one turnover in a game, it just doesn’t happen. It doesn’t mean Texas’ D won’t completely suffocate Ohio State’s O, I just wouldn’t expect anymore than one turnover at the most.
  13. I was just letting him know my thinking, but I’ll be back here win or lose to tell you all good game and it was fun discussing ball with you.
  14. I was referring to anybody who played on Texas’ OL in the Cotton Bowl who will also be playing in the game on 8/30. Kelvin Banks is and was a stud.
  15. I personally don’t think stats tell the entire story, but it doesn’t matter because that game is in the past. Good luck on 8/30.
  16. You didn’t think Ohio State’s DL dominated the OL? When the SEC won 7 in a row you were struggling in the Big 12. What’s that go to do with anything?
  17. So does Ohio State, that’s why Onianwa isn’t starting at Ohio State.
  18. I’m not trying to be an asshole, but I felt like Ohio State’s defensive line dominated Texas’ OL. You didn’t feel that way?
  19. After seeing the way Texas’ OL played against Ohio State, I’m confident none of them would play a snap for Ohio State. Where as I know our OL already shut down a better Texas D than they will face on 8/30. With all do respect. All experience isn’t the same.
  20. Actually, my thinking is I only saw Arch play two competent opponents. Ohio State knocked him out in one play, and he looked like he didn’t belong anywhere near a football field against Georgia.
  21. Sherrone Moore beat Alabama
  22. Jeez, what does that say about the SEC then when USC and Illinois pushes them around? Yikes. By the way, Tennessee was one of the least physical teams Ohio State played all season.
  23. Ohio State doesn’t have a long home winning streak, so not an issue.
  24. The same can be said for Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida, and A&M. A&M has not been a contender in my life time. Ole Miss has not been a contender in my lifetime. Florida has not been a contender for 17 years and Auburn is nearly as long.
