  1. This 3rd baseman and Utermark last weekend have made some outstanding plays.
  2. I agree, it’s as nice as most triple A parks to me.
  3. Doza a-rod robbins temo pack borba tinney gumbo dh
  4. A-Rod being hurt doesn’t lend to being a good 4 hole to me. Not right now. I’d rather him bat 2nd so he can put balls in play and do his job.
  5. Without implosion, this team is a one loss team and that being a no show against a Tuesday night team. That’s not a stretch, we have blown both conference openers no questions asked.
  6. I have a great idea. Let’s start Burns or one of the relievers and then close with our starters.
  7. I’d rather see them hit us than all these walks. Pretty ridiculous.
  8. I’d rather see Cozart pitch Sunday’s and DV close. Grubbs just isn’t who we thought he was. I remember him being much better last year. At least these guys are throwing strikes.
  9. I think if we are going to have struggles, now is the time. Would rather put some guys through the wringer to weed out who can’t handle the late inning pressure prior to post season play. If we can manage to win more series than we lose, we will be just fine in the grand scheme. Baseball is a game of streaks, and slumps. Would rather slump now and streak late. It’s not easy to endure losses but if it doesn’t kill us, it’s going to bode well for later in the year.
  10. The pitching whisperer needs to yell at these guys. I will give Robbins a pass. We aren’t in the position to win without him. Lefew is a little over confident. Walker shouldn’t be the best we have to bring in. He throws meat. Can’t bring in Burns bc he will hit 3 in a row or throw it to the back stop. Pretty bad that we have a strong team and a glaring weakness from inning 6-9.
  11. At this point, I’m not comfortable unless we are up 6+ in the 9th. We struggle trying to strike guys out instead of pitching to our defense. I get it, lead off double rattles most. No need to go out and try to get swing and miss pitches and walk a guy with no outs.
  12. Ump squeezing us compared to what he gave Auburn last inning.
  13. We better not roll into Auburn flat like this or we will get rolled out. I get the mid week games are meaningless in the grand scheme but this is as emotionless as I have seen us all year.
  14. Not sure what’s worse, this or USA vs Venezuela.
  15. In other news it looks like there are about 60 people at the OU A&M game.
  16. Same guy who said we would struggle in year 1 in the SEC and had to come back on and eat crow. He’s a delusional SEC homer who doesn’t give us respect like half of the rest of the collections of podcasts.
  17. I think the best term to use is bush league. Celebrate with your team. Kinda reminded me of Tom Herman tbh.
  18. Little chirping and celebrating is cool. Mocking celebrations and whole team coming out of the dug out to throw up signs and stare down the dugout, I think renders Karma. To each their own.
  19. Their players were obnoxious last night as well. Would have loved to have seen that one get to a run rule. I hope DV comes out and has his best appearance thus far tomorrow.
  20. The longer we wait on the bullpen, the better imo. Should have rode Ruger another few outs last night and same with Lefew.
  21. Especially if we blow the lead more often than he’s able to throw a CG.
  22. I still have confidence in our team. We have to figure out who can come in and throw strikes down the stretch. I think Lefew needs to be moved to closer and let someone else be the middle relief. He’s the only one who comes in and shuts it down.
  23. We have beat ourselves tonight. Had plenty of chances to win and our pitching let us down. Lots of baseball left, I hope our relief pitching improves. This team has fight but we shouldn’t be fighting ourselves.
