  1. Elite, elite accuracy. Colt McCoy level accuracy. With more arm talent down the field Very good footwork, but not a high-end athlete when pressured. Pocket needs to be good for him.
  2. Size wise, yes. Peat has +4.25 wingspan, which is impressive. Seeing Punch in person, not sure he will measure over +4. As a player, Punch is not that level offensive player. Peat is so advanced and talented as a player inside 15-feet. Punch is better on defense, and may be better as a passer from the high-post are and in ball screen game though
  3. Texas well represented … 15+ players on list on Texas schedule this year https://www.pff.com/news/college-football-pff-50-2026
  4. Texas No. 1 https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/2026-transfer-portal-superlatives/
  5. Freeman should/better score more than that … Johnson would be more 15.5’ish IMO because he has really good players around him That’s 79 ppg from top 6 … say more like 76 and I could see it … Texas needs to be an 85.5’ish scoring team on low end, and 88.5/89 on high end.
  6. Maybe Aden Holloway will not be back if this happens
  7. I don't think they will win, guess if my initial thought. People have asked about Jordan Pope and Weaver. If they were granted an extra year, it wouldn't be Texas. Texas already has a minutes issue they will be balancing for a lot of the season because of the talent at guard and wing on the 2026-27 team. Texas doesn't have the spot for a guard, if any of the guys appealing from any school won a year. Isaiah Johnson is the team runner/PG that will command 29-30 mins. Austin Goosby is playing starter minutes, Mikey Lewis is playing starter minutes, Amari Evans is a terrific 4th guard as a top notch defender that will be improved offensively in year two in the SEC ... all minutes in backcourt are eaten up but really good players that fit very well together in their roles. Then the wing is Elyjah Freeman starter minutes, and Bo Ogden as a very important shooter/floor spacer with rebounding ability in his role in year one. We're talking three future NBA draft picks for sure, and three others that will be pro players on some level long term.

  9. Has 1st round ability. Second jump explosion evident. Showing signs of being able to play in ball screen game … Will shoot it well enough Biggest two aspects to improve going into the season are getting stronger and making more plays for others
  10. 2000-10 I agree with you. That’s a different convo for the decade Lakers title teams with Shaq and Kobe… Shaq was the most dominant player in the world at that time.
  11. Rodney Dangerfield definitely high on my list. Love that! I care more about him than Kobe!
  12. lol. You care about Kobe Bryant talk way more than I ever will
  13. Spears and Black should be 5's right now, and top 3
  14. Fun look back... https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/greatest-college-football-team-decade/
  15. I agree with you. Any Punch talk being too short to be effective in the SEC is complete hogwash and lack of research. Collin Murray-Boyles at South Carolina/NBA 1st rounder is 6-7, 245. Punch has physicality and skill combo at his position, and plays both ends. He went for 22 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks in two games vs. Budinga/Tiller at Kansas. 10, 8 and 2 blocks vs. Arizona frontline. The Big 12 had terrific bigs in the conference in 2025-26, on multiple teams. And Punch was having to log a lot of minutes playing against 5's. Punch averaged 13, 6, 2.3 assists, 1.7 blocks and 1.4 steals in Big 12 play ... in what was a terrific conference. I would take that right now in SEC play in 2026-27, no questions asked. If he improves 4-5% from the FT line, that ppg jumps to 14.5'ish.
