It's 2 guys right now in 2027. Yam will very likely reclass to 2027 to make it three currently. Impossible to say on any class ranking. Texas could have a lot of guys return off this team ... and choose to only sign one 2027 HS player and go to portal for any other need. So hard to say right now

The only part that wasn't BS was Texas had interest. Anything about Saban seriously entertaining it ... was BS. It was never close.

For the going to 10 personnel predominately talk ... the answer is NO The answer is no. And I get where people are coming from ... the offense is so bad right now. I do believe there is an element of going 10 personnel a lot more that could help Texas get an extra win or two potentially. But here is the NO ... you simply aren't going to win 3 or 4 CFP games in a row predominately 10 personnel. National Champions since 2010 ... I found only one team that ran a lot of 10 personnel that won it all. Clemson in 2018. That Clemson team also rushed for 248 yards per game out of 10. They were a physical team out of 10. Every other NC winning team was 10% or less in 10 personnel that I could find in my search. Ultimately, the answer is one has to have a much more physical offense and run game to attain the big prize. Here is the question for anyone old enough that watched all these teams ... were they physical on offense? The answer is yes. There were levels of physicality to a certain extent as Nick Saban, Kirby Smart, Urban Meyer, Jim Harbaugh's teams were uber physical, but even the Clemson teams had the needed level of physicality. And when called up on to be physical in the run game in talent neutralized games/situations, they all had the ability to take it to another level with mentality.

Population will always produce the most players overall. Just like more 3-stars are drafted than 4's and 5's ... its a numbers game!!! But any thought that Arch struggles are tied to be a small school player are just flat out wrong. I gave you the list with many tremendous QB's ... it's right there if you actually dig deeper. You simply don't have to come from big cities and the biggest schools to be a high level athlete, at any position.

More QB's ... a lot of the best didn't play high level HS comp or at big schools Tom Brady - 850 enrollment at HS Jared Goff - 750 enrollment at HS Kirk Cousins - 600’ish enrollment at HS Philip Rivers - 1,000’ish enrollment at HS Matt Ryan - 1000’ish enrollment at HS Joe Flaco - 800’ish enrollment at HS Donovan McNabb - 800’ish enrollment at HS Brett Farve - under 600 enrollment at HS Mark Brunell - 400’ish enrollment at HS Troy Aikman - small school Kurt Warner - small school Jeff Hostetler - small school Case Keenum - 3A HS in Texas

Texas is right there. Don't think he makes a decision in November 2. Yes he is. Too soon to know. Hasn't made a visit to this point 3. Way too early for me on that. If both are spring decisions, Texas would like that so the staff has a better feel for the current roster and who is likely to return

If you dig into it, there have been plenty of QB's that didn't play big classification football around the country ... and some of the best ever I've mentioned Peyton and Eli Dan Marino - sub 700 enrollment HS Josh Allen - 632 enrollment at his HS Tony Romo - less than 1,000 at his HS Steve McNair - less than 400 at his HS etc...

Yeah, I disagree with this. There have been plenty of great QB's (some with Gold Jackets) that didn't play a high level of HS competition. In the Arch argument in that ... Peyton and Eli played at Isidore Newman as well. They played small classification at the same school. So the dog doesn't hunt, and especially with Arch.
