Expected to be top 15 range

Was told about 20 minutes ago that Texas is expected to see a basketball all together NIL increase into the 4.8-5 million range for next season. This season's roster was 3.7-3.8 million. That increase would place Texas in the top 15 range nationally based on numbers currently.

One hell of a run. Great memories for me in the industry ... was lucky enough to be at the Oregon Sweet 16 game, Michigan State Elite 8 game, Memphis Elite 8 game, Duke Round of 32 game, etc. ... attended five NCAA Tournaments during that stretch. And there was TJ Ford, KD, DJ Augustin, Royal Ivey, PJ Tucker, Lamarcus Aldridge, Daniel Gibson, etc...

I'm not for sure. In the games, anything can happen. Just like Santa Clara beat UC Irvine 101-62 in the NIT last night. I'm quite sure Santa Clara fans think they should have been in the NCAA Tournament this morning. That their league should have received three or four bids vs. two (St. Mary's and Gonzaga). But the issue is their resume wasn't deserving, period. Just no way around it. It's about the why they shouldn't have been in ... once you get in the tournament, anything can happen. A hot game, a bad game by another team, etc... North Carolina hadn't beaten a team in the NCAA Tournament since December 21 (that's not a misprint). 1-10 against NCAA Tournament teams, 1-12 in Quad 1's.
