    We have a recruiting problem. Not just Oregon. LSU, OU, Aggy, Bama, Ohio State, Florida State all taking our targets. Recruiting ebbs and flows. Staff has earned the benefit of the doubt to put a solid team together but you’d really like to have a better pipeline. Depth is so critical in our new conference

    Could have a big year. He moves very well for +320lbs. I'm not that concerned about this year DT. It's the pipeline that is concerning. You can't get one or two guys in three straight classes. We will need portal help.

    Exactly, this can't be viewed as encouraging news to "announce" you commitment to the school you're currently committed to.

    Bama nation was NOT going to stand for another player to consider flipping to Texas. I’m guessing this decision went well beyond Ryan himself and football which I can understand.

    Seems like a pretty simple solution for the Texas staff if they wanted him, promise the same playing time as Oregon. However, we seem to have a mindset about competing for playing time rather than giving it away and I think that will be better long term. If he believes in his abilities he should have the confidence to say I don’t care what team I am on I’m going to be so good they’ll never take me off the field. At least, that’s the player I would hope I am getting.

    That sure changed quickly. Pressure from people in Alabama must be intense….or just going to enroll without visiting which is fine by me.

    Would be an incredible pick up, but I have a feeling Harbaugh leaving Michigan will not be remotely close to Saban leaving Alabama in terms of portal players. Michigan will elevate Sherrone Moore to HC who has proven to be more than competent during Harbaugh's suspensions and the players absolutely love him.
