  1. Is this true? I would have guessed LB Jhadyn Nelson
  2. We could pack more people in if we wanted to. We don’t need a new stadium. We need Texas to stop flirting with expansion like it’s a summer crush and finally put a ring on it. The Disch was literally designed to be built out - the bones are already there. Tonight just proved (again) that Texas baseball can pack 9–10k when it matters. So no, we don’t need to bulldoze anything. We just need to finish the expansion the architects drew up a decade ago instead of acting like 8,550 is some kind of ceiling. The only thing holding capacity back right now is Texas deciding it’s time to act like the program that just set the NCAA attendance record at the Disch.
  3. That was a Sandy Koufax drop off the table ball....he wasn't hitting that.
  4. can't wait for Monday to get here 😀
  5. You’re blending three different concepts and acting like they’re the same thing. We were talking about reaction time. Reaction time is purely distance ÷ velocity. Ball size doesn’t enter the equation unless you think circumference bends spacetime 😀
  6. That’s all true, but it doesn’t change the stat. White’s teams have handled Glasco’s teams for years, regardless of zip code or friendship. Personal connections don’t erase patterns on the field. The record is what it is.
  7. CDC and White having a good laugh when White asked CDC "Is my new staduium going to be ready next year?"
  8. @GoHorns1 pretty much said it above White’s already said he’s selective in the portal because Texas actually recruits and develops elite kids. If you’re signing top‑10 classes every year, you don’t turn around and portal over them - that’s how you kill your own pipeline. And he’s right: if recruits think you’re just going to replace them with mercenaries, they’ll stop coming. Tech’s model works only as long as the money hose stays open. They’re basically renting other schools’ finished products. No top recruit is choosing that over a place that actually develops players. White will portal, but he’s not doing the “replace half the roster” thing. He’ll be targeted - probably a pitcher, maybe a bat, maybe a utility defender. Someone like Luna from Texas State is exactly the profile: proven, experienced, and doesn’t block your blue‑chip freshmen. Texas will add needs, not a whole new team...going to guess Texas adds 2–3 transfers, not 6–8.
  9. We will find out starting Monday...portal opens
  10. Gotta side with the reaction‑time guy here. The whole point was how fast it gets on you, not how many inches it has to wiggle on the way in. A 70 from 43’ is still on the hitter quicker than a 92 from 60’6”. The ball being bigger doesn’t magically slow time down, and ‘less distance to curve’ doesn’t make it easier to hit - unless we’re just making up physics now.”
  11. watched both the Texas and the Texas Tech post game interviews Gerry Glasco said some nice things about Texas, White and Kavan
  12. For those wanting to know, for NCAA Division I softball-----the official transfer portal window will open this coming Monday(June 8th) , and closes on Monday(June 22nd). ---15-day period.
  13. I was trying to make that sound like a joke...but i guess that failed 😄
  14. Pro after this season? Then why is Tech acting like she’s a rental car with the ‘no hard turns’ clause? If she’s that elite, she shouldn’t need rest - she should be out there earning every NIL dollar instead of sitting in the dugout like a museum piece.
  15. Tech pulling Canady was the most on‑brand move imaginable - spend a million dollars on an arm and then treat her like she’s made of wet cardboard. If she’s really worth that paycheck, she shouldn’t need ‘rest,’ she should be out there throwing until her NIL contract starts smoking. Texas is playing softball. Tech is playing ‘please don’t break our investment.’
  16. Josh ‘Jost’ Pate and SEC Mike aren’t just obsessed - they’re two malfunctioning carnival attractions powered entirely by Texas mentions. Wind them up and you get the same sad routine: another Texas‑themed plea for relevance. Without Texas, these two dumbwits would be standing in an empty parking lot yelling into a box fan. They don’t have takes - they have withdrawals. And the best part? Texas doesn’t even have to do anything. We just exist, and they unravel.
  17. Watching all this play out, Texas Tech fans must be the most committed fan base in the country, because the amount of nonsense they’re willing to swallow with a straight face is unreal. Every week it’s a new meltdown, a new conspiracy, a new ‘Texas is scared of us’ fantasy. You almost have to admire the dedication - it’s like they’ve built an entire identity around pretending the rest of the sport takes them seriously.
  18. JD saying ‘not a PR stunt’ is adorable. Like watching a toddler hide behind a lamp thinking you can’t see him - like you, used to like listening to him. However, he’s not covering the sport anymore - he’s covering whatever storyline his YouTube analytics whisper to him at 2 AM.
  19. McGuire talks like a guy who thinks volume is a substitute for truth. Every time he opens his mouth, Tech’s credibility drops another floor. He didn’t ‘miscommunicate’ - he just made stuff up and hoped nobody checked. Just go to some of the other non-texas boards. They checked. And Campbell? He’s the booster version of a midlife crisis. Loud wallet, zero influence. Tweeting buyouts for games he never had permission to touch. It’s cosplay leadership from a guy desperate to matter. Tech’s entire brand right now is two dudes pretending they run college football while everyone else laughs.
