    A back who's out of position on a blitz pickup gets your franchise QB killed. Playing time and experience, the willingness to take on the rush, and football IQ are what makes a good pass protecting RB. Losing Baxter hurts, at least in the short term. How long it will impact the team will depend upon how fast the pups grow up.

    @TarrantCoHorn is right. Saban has sung the praises of Baxter three or four times in the past week. Baxter is pretty much a stereotype for the Saban style of RBs, so I'm not surprised that Saban would be jonesing for Baxter.

    My neighbor has property in Rockport they are building a small vacation home on. They left the afternoon of July 4 to drag their camper down there to do some work. I asked them why go with the possibility of the hurricane hitting in that area. They said they'll deal with it if it happens. Makes me wonder if they'll be back tonight or tomorrow.
