  1. Past hour
  2. Eating corn dogs with mayo at my buddy’s house, drinking Oklahoma Suks beer for the game. My wife is due in two weeks so we aren’t traveling this month. Everyone going up to Dallas, enjoy! 🤘🏽
  3. One of the first ones in the gate. Beer and corn dog. All dang day.
  4. 7 am seems ambitious. Where does one go at that hour? Leave Saturday am. Get some kolaches. Arrive around 9-9:30. Start thinking about kicking some butt. Check out cars, maybe an early am corndog, watch Larry demonstrate his potato peeler……. Win. Celebrate in stadium. Drive home.
  5. I understand where you're coming from. I meant that passion isn't just being fiery on Saturdays. Passion is also honing technique like you talked about. Passion is also working at deficiencies in your game, like Tony referenced another time. As for "impugning your integrity", I said that I didn't mean to sound condescending, but do understand how what I said came across. I think most of us come from some sort of background in football, whether playing or coaching, so we all have our different experiences to rely upon, and can continue to learn from each other. I meant no disrespect.
  6. @Inspired73 if I am following your lead correctly, confusion and waning confidence, brought on by poor technique and assignment sharpness, can overtake passion and toughness rather quickly.
  7. Headed to Dallas in the am. Lunch at Terry Blacks. Staying at our son’s house. At the fair by 7 am. What are you doing if going or if not going? I’ve checked out mentally. Ready to see the boys bounce back.
  8. Perhaps my writing wasn't as clear as I would have liked. My comments were directly related to technique and assignment sharpness. None of which has anything to do with passion or toughness. In my opinion both our offensive and defensive are not using good technique. They know how to play, put are thinking too much. which slows down reaction time. As for the right guard, he doesn't come off of the line at the correct pad level or quickly enough. The defensive guy is delivering the first blow....ie poor technique. The twist (line stunt) or the loop from the d-tackle is handled via commuication....another poor technique. Neither of which has anything to with passion. Finally, your attempt to impugn my integrity is misplaced and unappreciated. Coming from a family with 3 generations of high school and college football coaches, I do know a few things. Tell Eva hello
  9. Today
  10. OU f’ing sucks?
  11. I'm frightened by this kind of bullying speech!!
  12. We do not need college players indebted to gambling services.
  13. Longhorns flip the script from last week Texas 29 ou 21
  14. Bobby wont allow OTF to get like OB in my opinion.
  15. If OU can run the ball our defense isn’t what we think it is at all. Florida ran on us last year and has Jaden Baugh. OU hasn’t run on anyone. Their only runner is Mateer. You spy him and rough him up. OU sucks at running the ball. OU should be one dimensional organically. I am wanting our pass rush and coverage to improve more. That’s what we truly need. We gave up so many yards to run after catch. Lagway was on one leg and we couldn’t get after him enough to make them pay for dropping back. Need Muhammad back and a pass rush that was glazed repeatedly all off season to show up with their own 6 sack game. The Texas pass rush is being paged.
  16. Amen. Please don't make this into another Orangebloods
  17. no place for this.
