Coaching staff recruiting as reported. Guess current players don’t need any coaching since we win so easily

Does Texas have a golden handcuffs problem with Arch?

Very well said Jeff.

What’s frustrating to watch is the inexperience or very bad throws that Arch just flings around at this point in his career…. Gotta be smarter with the ball

Makes me wonder if Sark is the guru he thinks he is.

Yup. Feels like everyone is fed up with the same bs.

If that's the case, then I don't want to hear anything else about how they block out the noise or "be enamored with us." If the standard is the standard, this team isn't playing to it and that has nothing to do with the opponent.

The only time his toys have paid off was in 2019 at Bama. Maybe it is time to go back to the NFL if you won't give up playcalling. JIMBO Fischer was the last college coach to call plays and win a Natty. Yep, Jimbo

Have to assume that the message wasn’t being delivered without there being a loss to really get their attention. At least that’s what I’m hoping, otherwise we’re in for a long one.

Amen, Gerry. Amen.

I wanted to believe in arch but after today, it’s just too much of a sample size to ignore. He’s not a good fit for the offense and he’s just kind of average overall. He is a painfully slow processor and cannot recognize a blitz to save his life. Just have to reset expectations. This is a good but not great team. Can’t win consistently when every game is a high wire act.

It’s the Jerry Jones GM issue with the Cowboys. No one can fire him. No one but Sark can fire Sark as OC. If donors try to force it, he may walk to the NFL - they need to have a plan B if that happens.

I see a lot of Arch hate around here. And while he most certainly deserves his share of the blame, how many of you are taking into account he's a product of Sark/Milwee after 4 years? In my opinion, I don't think Sark is taking enough blame for this himself

This:

Arch and Quinn were both projected to be 1st rounders at some point and never hit their ceiling .

I don't understand why we don't have an identity on offense

It is a catastrophic loss because of the schedule. Better teams ahead and we can only lose one game. Winning at Mizzou and LSU looks tough. Not to mention sweeping the four of Ole Miss, Fla, Miss St and Aggy. I don’t see it. The same issues keep happening. 2/3 of our units aren’t getting it done.

I totally agree. I am a huge Sark fan. I think he is fairly honest and authentic, and there’s no denying how much better the state of the program is than when he took over. But the issues that continue to plague this team fall squarely on Sark. The units led by his top two lieutenants he brought from Alabama have grossly underperformed for several years. And I hate to admit it, but it seems that both Quinn and Arch have regressed somewhat the longer they’ve been coached by Sark (and his third lieutenant, Milwee). Finally, I don’t think this offense has a core identity to fall bacK on in critical junctures of games. I’m rooting for Sark to succeed, but he has to perform on the field and get results.

Fire himself as OC, he ought to be fired as HC. How many years and how much talent is required for an offensive “genius” to produce a winning offense?

Bama scored more points in tonight’s first half than we have in our 3 first halves vs Georgia COMBINED

This is also Texas' third consecutive loss coming out of a bye week. The Florida and Georgia losses last season came after byes. What the heck is happening on the Forty Acres during the bye week?

How much for UF? My sons may want to go. 11am and coming from Tulsa makes it tough.

Grow up. Be a man. We are all disappointed

Bring me Kalen DeBoer to Austin.

The offense had the same set of problems with Ewers. Too much reliance on big plays which means zero rhythm and lopsided TOP. The biggest change since then is our special teams have fallen off a cliff from being ++ to somewhere between below average to terrible.
