  1. Past hour
  2. Lower talk? He led the team in rushing this afternoon, just FYI. And again I think just two touches in a second half!!!
  3. Arch should be on the Doubtful list next week. Even if he plays he is doubtful
  4. CJ and Gerry called it out exactly what crap show it was. Stop doing drugs
  5. I don't think this was cowardice, but rather insight into Sark's lack of confidence in his own offense. The real rub is he refuses to do anything about it.
  6. I don’t think we have been watching the same defense. Marginally better? Come on!
  7. Nailed it Gerry. The last INT encapsulates everything in a nutshell. Texas and Arch not adjusting to the blitz. Whether it is Sarkisian’s system or Arch just can’t do it…it’s a problem. It looked like man/cover 0. Texas had zero option routes to adjust to the pressure. Everything was downfield. It shouldn’t have been. Zero hot routes. Finally, the fact that Manning didn’t know to throw the ball away or protect t it all costs is mind boggling. Regardless of the play call by Sark. How does he not know you can’t do that. It’s the only way you lose the game in that spot and getting to OT. All the ball he’s been around and the fact it’s not just cemented in his brain. Being around his uncles, dad, grandpa. How? I have nothing on that.
  8. Well said Gerry. We definitely have that one away. The blocked punt, the pick six was sad, but the 3 n outs and soft play calling from our offensive mastermind only to hear the commentators bolster the Venables defensive mastermind BS was sickening tough loss. I hope the team takes it on the chin and gets better for the rest of the way or we really did watch a roster loaded, LOADED with offensive talent just waste a hell of a defensive squad for us
  9. Good thing Baxter is not on the team
  10. I'm afraid this is who Arch is and that's not changing. This is who Sark is and that's not changing. And no more bye week to fix things now. Sark is never giving up play calling. And Arch , I don't know where to begin. Is what he is, good and bad. We may win 9 or 10 by the grace of God. But a Natty , not even close. Damn shame to waste that D. Everybody can see what is going on . Arch is worse. The offense is worse. But 3 at home may give some false hope again. Not me, my eyes have seen the light. I will just enjoy the games with no more expectations of grandeur. The most underachieving offense in college based on talent period.
  11. Nah I’m tired f our QB’s regressing. Arch has gotten worse. Ewers doesn’t develop like he should’ve either. If I’m a QB I’m not going to Texas until Milwee is gone.
  12. I love that - we all wanted to ask
  13. Watching UGA/Bama shows me Arch is just so under developed. Watch Stockton and Russell rip it on throws that Arch would hesitate and then scramble.
  14. The Kyle Flood OL experience just keeps getting better 😆
  15. It’s so sickening at this point but you bet buddy the mods will do everything they can to spin this and defend Sark, Flood, and banks. It’s what it is we will through the 2010’s nothing can hurt us
  16. I’ll sum it up for your quick thoughts. 1. Sark is incompetent and won’t relinquish control. He will continue to drag his teams into these sloppy close games. 2. Arch does not have it. The kid is mentally slow. A few ticks behind processing. KJ Lacey has shown smarter and better passing in his limited time. 3. Fire Jeff Banks. Total sloppy crap every game. 4. Fire Kyle Flood. Year 6 and his OL still struggles to pickup stunts and blitzes. He thinks it’s acceptable to trot out Conor Robertson and Conor Stroh. Pack your sheet in a box and GTFO.
  17. Sark does not have a killer instinct after all. Not like Kirby or Cignetti. I thought maybe he did after Ohio state...I was wrong. I am not a gambler, but I really wonder if Texas "sold" today.
  18. That jump pass when he was getting pressured was a rare time this season where he made a play off script. He's got a mental block, and who can blame him? He knows he's not playing up to his standard, and he's got the weight of the world on him. Not excusing it, but he's going through the motions right now and Sark hasn't figured out how to get him out of his rut.
  19. @dlp1123 go look at the comment i made on page 4. It shows how we have gone downhill since Sark and even Herman improved every year and put up more points.
  20. Buddy slow down. Some heads will explode with all that truth in there. This game dam near broke me. At least Baxter toating that pill at Kentucky 🥲 124 yards and a tuddy vs lsu
  21. Sark firing PK was a joke. What a huge scapegoat for refusing to admit where the real problems are. Muschamp's defense is just marginally better, but our offense and special teams are regressing and Sark had his head under the pillow.
  22. With all the analysts that Texas is hired over the last handful of years, do none of them self-scout the offense and break it down sark? I'm sure they do, but it obviously it's ignored.
  23. It was a poor blocking scheme on the punt block, especially on your own goal line. You had 2 small guys left of center who were way outnumbered. Especially when OU offense had no signs of life and they have nothing to lose going for the block. Max protect on the goal line in that situation
  24. Huge shout out to @CJ Vogel. He backed it up with stats. There was no way Sark could defend his position. Just the terse I know everything, “not a chance” answer.
  25. Reality check: every weekend quarterbacks screw up and throw interceptions. Defenses fail to cover receivers. Penalties occur at inoportune times. Happens.
  26. @Jeff Howe agree on Arch not being a good fit for what Sark wants to do…but what’s wildly concerning to me is that we (Longhorn nation collectively, to be clear — not you) said the exact same thing about Quinn. “Oh, Quinn can only complete passes inside of 5 yards from LOS. Sark is an explosive play guy, likes to take deep shots, and that’s Arch’s strong suit.” I worry that this is nothing but an excuse from us fans who are overly optimistic about the next chapter (ie the new QB and his style that will be “complementary” to Sark’s scheme and system). At some point, we have to zoom out and come to terms w the common denominator being Sark’s playcalling and consistent underperformance of elite QB talent…in my opinion. Derrick Cooper rushes for 2 first downs on back to back plays and running hard and w purpose. Instead of pounding the rock again, Sark decides to be overly creative to no avail and we lose momentum. It’s infuriating. Creativity is great but not at the expense of doing what you need to win the game. Maybe overly critical here but nothing wrong with “playing the highlights” as Rod says repeatedly…we don’t care if it looks cool or not Sark. My two cents at least, though I may be overreacting (as we all should be at this point bc it’s inexcusable and pathetic). @Gerry Hamilton love to hear your thoughts here too
