  1. Past hour
  2. Basically what Sark told me with that play choice is he didn't trust his oline against ou's defense to get the 2 yards. Of course that would have been better in hindsight than the missed field goal which gave ou another 7 yards free.
  3. I think Sark values big plays more than consistently moving the chains. OU was allowing 23.1% on third down, and with two weeks to prepare, we went 3-for-13. Cooper was running well inside but barely touched it in the second half. Arch’s last pick looked predetermined, with a receiver coming open underneath. Sometimes taking five yards is better than chasing twenty.
  4. The offense individually isn’t the issue. It’s the decision making, and discipline that’s killing this team. The offense doesn’t need a magic pill to be what they need to be, they need to find consistency in what works for them! Not what Sark thinks will work, but what works for that unit! The special teams on the other hand has a way to go, but honestly inconsistent offense leads to bad situational decisions for the special teams to make and play. If the offense had just plays three good quarters of football, it takes all the pressure off of the special teams to somehow give us a chance to stay in the game. A blocked punt and punt return don’t happen when your offense doesn’t put you in situations for it to happen. Sure punting and kicking haven’t been great, but pressure to be the reason you win games shouldn’t come down on their shoulders unless absolutely necessary.
  5. Whats worse is the amount of talent that the offense has is being thrown in the garbage. This should have been Sarks most talented offense since he stepped on the 40 and probably within the top 5 hes had as a coach or coordinator....thats flat out embarrassing. Time to start checking egos at the door and start really looking at what the problem is and what needs to be done to fix it. This is the kind of thing that really starts to affect recruiting, team chemistry and confidence...both players and coaches. Hard to trust in something when its been so monumentally bad.
  6. arch is great at home. need to win next 3. all at home to have a chance at playoff. then at mizzou at lsu atm. lose one of those. arkansas gimme in austin. iffin our kicker makes it at end arch would be awesome and great. special teams lost that game. monkey banks
  7. You are correct. The athletic director hears them too. Not saying anything happens, but Sark needs some smoke behind this.
  8. I so feel that. I had to laugh at that, otherwise it'd be crying. 🤣
  9. Sorry CJ, the way our offense is performing the opponent simply needs their defensive players to fog a mirror to be effective against us. Our offense can be counted on to throw in plenty of penalities, turnovers, miscues, drops, bone-headed mistakes, and overall dysfunction to assist the opponents’ defenses. And our (un)special teams will not be left out of the party and insist on its share of gaffes to aid the opponent. We fans have much to be concerned about.
  10. I know you have to be careful and circumspect in what you say. And I 100 percent agree with you on how Arch has carried himself. But if the lightbulb hasn't come on for him in his 4th year in the system and 20 starts history tells you it won't. Maybe he needs a different coach and a different system. It's not working at Texas. Looking at the schedule it's liable to look like he's found it, but I still have no faith once he faces a really good team and defense like Georgia or OSU again rust he will not revert. It really sucks.
  11. I'm not sure Arch is even 2008 Tebow good.
  12. ....having quite a day with the Packers. He has quickly become a fan favorite.
  13. With the exception of Arkansas all other games are concerning.
  14. Only a little worried bc we couldn’t do much against a mid UTSA defense, Texas has to stop beating Texas first
  15. We have not forced a turnover against a P4 team. Chances are this doesn’t stay this way, as the turnovers will start to happen but we need to start forcing TO’s in this big games.
  16. I agree, but Jalen Hurts isn't Manning Inc. Can you imagine the blowback? It's just different, plus Sark is nowhere as ruthless and committed to winning as Saban. Few coaches are. They all work in a sliding scale of political calculation. Just my opinion. But I agree with the concept.
  17. We have not forced a turnover against a P4 team. Chances are this doesn’t stay this way, as the turnovers will start to happen but we need to start forcing TO’s in this big games.

  18. I hope this is our version of Michigan beating Ohio State in 2024. Seems similar. Ryan Day wanted to call the game his way and they lost 13-10. Learned his lesson and went on to win the natty. SARK NEEDS TO TAKE A LONG LOOK AT THE PROBLEMS INCLUDING HIMSELF. Hook Em! Time to chomp the gators and get payback!
  19. Totally agree Gerry. I’ve noticed on game sideline shots, Arch is predominantly either sitting and talking with teammates or alone (with a blank look in his eyes) while the offense is not on the field. He occasionally stands on the sidelines watching the field. My question is, why isn’t someone coaching him on the sidelines? Am I just not seeing that on camera? I’ve seen other QBs looking at pics of plays, formations etc. or talking with their position coaches. Just not seen it with Arch. The guy obviously needs instruction.
  20. Whatever you’re smoking I need it.
  21. Will they though? That would require the guy calling plays to not kill us repeatedly
  22. If you had the same players that Texas had but the Head Coach and/or OC at the following schools had this same lineup would be anywhere near this pathetic? Ohio State, Ole Miss, Missouri, LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Miami, Notre Dame, SMU
  23. But we’re also playing better offenses. So can we expect a regression from the D?
  24. I’ll say it - 2008 Florida Gators. bookmark it.
