  1. Past hour
  2. So obvious these announcers are pro Tennessee.
  3. Pretty much, yeah. ESPN actually treated Supers like a real TV product this year. Way more games on ESPN/ESPN2 instead of ESPN+, better time slots, and way less channel‑hunting. When you make the games easier to find, the numbers jump - and i think that’s exactly what happened.”
  4. Like where Andy Katz is headed with his rankings
  5. Somebody is a little too fixated on Kobe.
  6. Inject it in my veins!! Let’s goooooo!
  7. I really like him. Very solid coach at a tough job in the SEC. He's making it better than what some others would IMO Only reason he hasn't won 10 or more three straight years in losing QB1 and QB2 last season
  8. Women's College World Series Live Thread *** Texas is in Oklahoma City looking to defend its 2025 National Title. Game 1: 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPN vs Tennessee
  9. I mean he only became the best player in the world from 2000-2010.
  10. I guess Kobe didn't fulfill his promise as a 17 year old.
  11. Excited to see the team come together and play as a team. Last year it did not seem like they played that way until the last few games of the year. Hoping to see it from start to finish this year. Arch getting the ball to his playmakers (Coleman, Wingo and Mosley) Running backs finding the holes the oline has created and making people miss in open field. Defense attacking and causing havoc. If the above takes place, think we will be in for a fun and memorable season.
  12. Facing 40 year old Michael Cooper
  13. The consensus greatest pre-draft workout in sports history is 17-year-old Kobe Bryant’s 1996 workout with the Los Angeles Lakers at the Inglewood YMCA. Facing off against seasoned NBA defender Michael Cooper, Bryant dominated so thoroughly that it forced Lakers management to completely shift their draft strategy.
  14. I’m excited for the speed and physicality of this team. I can’t even remember the last time we had a roster with this level of elite speed and the potential to be an extremely physical team.
  15. That's what it is for me too. If Arch starts this season the way he finished the year and plays at a level consistent to that all season, Texas will win it all.
  16. Very little excitement when there is this much expected. Mostly fear, dread, and anxiety. I remember 2008 being an absolute ball. 2009 was a slog of a season with very little upside. I anticipate this season feeling more like 2009. Cheers!
  17. Imagine school A offers you 500K and school B offers you 1 million. Bye! That is recruiting nowadays.
  18. It’s not the guardian that worries me, per se. It’s the not-for-profit that is marketing Camara as its spokesman and its fund raising revenue source. If Camara weren’t a marketable NIL entity, he’s still in France in a very difficult situation. But because he’s a highly marketable NIL story, he’s now the “French Freak” and the fund raising face of an NFP that has literally created a campaign (“PROtector”…for a Tackle prospect 🤔😂) using his story. Again, I hope this has a happy ending for the kid and the team around him is acting solely in his best interests. I really hope FOOTBALL can lead this kid to a better outcome, regardless of how he arrives there. But I will be skeptical of the “team” and the marketing campaign until I see the results for the kid.
  19. Today
  20. Coaches see their players at practice, working on off hours, their body language during games, etc. Coach has earned the right to be the demanding coach he is because winning is hard in the SEC. He has to compete against loaded teams with great coaches every game. He has been to the Final Four two years in a row. Not easy. I think this new team is full of dogs. We are going to love this team.
  21. Is this partly because of greater TV coverage compared to last year? Just curious - I watched more this year than I did last year but it seemed easier to find games this year.
