  2. No offense to anyone else but Jeff and Gerry are my two favourites at OTF. Love everyone else though but those two are my favourites. Although Jeff and Rod B together on a live stream is freaking goated. Throw Gerry in and it'll be the best show of the week lol. When he's back to 100% of course.
  3. Couldn't agree more. They're passionate about Texas without letting every win make them irrationally optimistic or every loss make them irrationally pessimistic. They'll praise what's working, criticize what isn't, and move on without the over-the-top meltdown routine. That's a pretty rare combination these days. ๐Ÿค˜
  4. Booker is a starting for a WNBA team in less than 7 months! She is ready too. Her opponents are in awe of her. She could score 50 a game if Coach let her. She's that good.
  5. I love B-Rob's analysis. He sees things only a former pro can see.
  6. Thanks. Very kind words.
  7. great read. Lets keep rolling. Hook em. Beat LSU
  8. I think weโ€™re all lucky to work with one another. Just a good group of guys and one gal IMO.
  9. Thank you. I appreciate those words and hope we live them every day.
  10. NGL - @Bobby Burton has been is bag lately. New office, LHN partnership, top shelf guests, killer articles. He is too humble to toot his own horn but there is a reason he is top dog in a pack of alphas.
  11. Jeff started covering Texas during a Golden Age that quickly soured into an ice age. He and Rod cut their teeth talking through 5-7 in 2010, the Charlie Strong Era and then they got burned by the highs of the Tom Herman era. They know what good football looks like, they know what bad football looks like and they sure as hell know what foolโ€™s gold looks like. I agree Bobby has done a great job getting the band together.
  12. As close ro complementary ball as weve seen all season. ST is still struggling tremendously. Couple of other things. Arch is so much better when he spreads the ball around and does not lock onto 1 target (Cam). Sark has finally dialed up a few screens in down and distance circumstances that slowed the backers down and put something else on tape that was different. Even as beat up as this defense rhey epitomize elite. Limited play from arguably the best player in CFB, Secondary beat up etc. Biles has been a wrecking ball, Raptor returning to form, Cryer filling and delivering blows as well as getting guys in the right spot, and last but not least the DL to include Ends have been fantastic.
  13. I'd say they have the right amount of emotion. I don't want to tune in to people covering Texas sports exclusively who don't seem to even want to root for the team, or even take obvious contrarian views to prove their objectivity. I feel like it hurts the folks who cover the team for OTF when Texas loses. Maybe or maybe not as much as me, because I'm completely irrationally invested on an emotional level and always have been, but enough where they get it when it's a tough loss or things aren't going great, and they're fulfilled when things do go well. It's a tough balance, and I feel like these guys straddle the line well.
  14. Maybe he wouldn't have had this much success if he'd stayed at Texas, even as the starter? Will Stein is proving to be a pretty good coach on the offensive end. He was at Oregon, too. I don't think the stable of running backs for Texas has been the issue.
  15. Also, this is likely the last year we get to watch Booker in burnt orange, so trying to watch as many games as I can.
  16. CJ was a great ambassador for us when he was here. Loved how well spoken he was about UT and you could tell he was bought in. but after the injury, uncertainty on staying healthy the business decisions were made that most likely didnโ€™t fit what he wanted more than us not wanting him to stay imo Glad to see him doing well at Kentucky though.
  17. Madison Booker beat this team by herselfโ€ฆ
  18. Can I just say, that Siani was above average at RT. He looks like a liability at LT. Seen him get blown back way too much. Otherwise I think the game went fine. Was a bit iffy on the O for 2 1/2 quarters but they pulled it off at the end. D was struggling early but got it going eventually. Would've loved some more sacks but what can you do. Whoever evaluated this P from the portal needs to be fired imo lol. Dude has been wonky all year. The K was a great pick up though. Great to get the win and lets go beat LSU like Bama did.
  19. Vic is playing a lot of the freshmen in these games, so I watch to see how they're adjusting to his demanding style of play. They're gonna need them a lot this year. They're worth paying attention to from that respect.
  20. Maybe Texas needed those two losses, to light the fire and passion. Arch, is becoming a leader and qb that takes criticism and scrutiny. Performs in November, honestly no other qb in the nation could handle that. He does, never complains to the public about others, shoulders the responsibility on him. Be honest, there again no expert, but that is what makes a nfl qb. Hopefully, he carries it over to next week against LSU. He is not perfect, he loses Coleman , smothers and goosby, to injury but yet has better games without them. We as Texas fans are the harshest critics of Texas Football. Arch hasn't folded.
