I could be wrong here but i see the beginning of the end for sark here especially if we miss the playoff’s again, he’s too hard headed and stubborn to make changes. Think he reached his peak here in 2023 and 2024. -

Then pop Sark. Which if we miss the playoffs is on the table. -

I’m tired of the “we’re working on it, and we’re frustrated because we’ve been harping on it all week”. Just go out there and prove it then! Not to all the fans or analysts, but to yourselves. I swear that was the motto going into the season, what happened to that? Is proving yourself right scrapping by games the same way every week and staying undisciplined? -
2026 Women’s Indoor Volleyball Thread

I think you're underselling what happens every November and December in volleyball. The team that wins it all isn't always the most talented team on paper. It's usually the team that gets its serve-receive, serving, and setter play locked in at the right time. A month ago this team looked dead in the water. Now they're sweeping SEC opponents and at least showing signs of improvement. Does that guarantee a Final Four run? Of course not. But declaring they have "no chance" to get through the Elite Eight feels a little premature. If we're being honest, none of us thought the 2022 team was winning it all after some of those regular-season performances either. I've watched enough Texas volleyball over the years to know that the team we're dissecting in early November is rarely the same team we see in the tournament. If championships were awarded based on October message-board evaluations, we'd have a lot fewer banners hanging in Gregory Gym. 🤘🏻 -

The ohio state game had me completely fooled on how bad they would be once again. I have unfortunately come to the conclusion that bad offensive line play, hit or miss offense, penalties and bad special teams are apart of a sark ran program. All of those have been a problem for two to three years or more with nothing but talk and excuses on how they are fixing them. -
Heather Dinich, who’s usually pretty plugged in, has Texas at 9. If that’s the case, winning out gets you in. Lose one and it’s possible but need some luck https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/50321732/projecting-2026-playoff-top-12-week-9-cfp

Based on what? Alabama lost to teams Texas would be mocked for losing to. Ohio State literally lost to Texas head-to-head. Ole Miss lost to Texas head-to-head. If all three get ranked ahead of Texas, then apparently the games themselves are just a suggestion. I can understand debating Alabama because pollsters love Alabama. I can even understand a disagreement on resumes.... But ranking Ohio State and Ole Miss ahead of the team that beat them on the field feels like admitting head-to-head doesn't matter. Head-to-head isn't the only thing that matters, but it has to matter more than nothing. Otherwise we're rewarding hypothetical football over actual football. 🤘🏻

The most wonderful time of the year. -
Head-to-head still has to mean something. If Texas gets ranked behind Ohio State, Ole Miss, or Tennessee after beating them, then why did we bother playing the games? Win the next few and this whole debate takes care of itself. 🤘🏻

There is absolutely no chance we will be behind Ole Miss or Ohio State.

In the SEC, you need a solid run game every week. i believe we have the weapons, but we are not utilizing them. We need backs who can break tackles and do not go down easily. in that category we have Terry, Cooper and Brown. Smothers has his gifts, but if you need 3 yards for a first down, he might give you 2. OL has been an issue all year in both run game and pass protection. It isn’t going away soon. If we are going to surrender gap dominance, at least give the ball to a RB who can somewhat compensate for that by breaking a tackle or two

Before the last touchdown Manning threw, Terry and Cooper were running hard and had a jolt of energy and the line started blocking better. It really doesn't make any sense how they can still be this bad for this long now. Arch looked bloody, battered and bruised in that game, and it's a damn shame that Sark and Flood seemingly don't give a damn that their quarterback takes a beating. -

Watched a good amount of the Texas State @ Boise State game last night. I was thinking, what if Texas hired GJ Kinne to be their real OC and offensive play caller? I'm not convinced Kinne would be a great CEO of an entire football program, but his offenses are pretty good. Have him be the "HC of the offense" and like Muschamp, bring in his own guys for his offensive staff. Obviously, this won't happen, but just a thought. -
Sark: “We found out about [running back] Michael Terry in the midst of all this because of the Hollywood Smothers injuries and the Derek Cooper [injury] stuff.”

Historically the committee values head to head wins above quality or strength of losses.
