  1. Past hour
  2. Peter Gardere 4 in a row. We had no business winning any of those games. It was slim pickens those years.
  3. Yep that was great. We were in upper deck. The Texas trainers turned him around. We had terrible seats. Around row 3-4 on the 5 yard line or so, then Stoney Clark snatched victory form the jaws of defeat. I yelled so long and hard that I got dizzy. I had bruises on my back from the guy behind.........whom I did not know.
  4. OTF expects Texas to bring in Monday offer Cherif Millogo for an OV soon. I'm pretty sure his agent lives in Austin.
  5. OTF doesn't believe there is a high probability Beckham Black signs in November. That doesn't change anything with Texas and Black. The Horns are all in.
  6. He's a WILL backer more than likely at the next level. He's a striker type player though. Definitely doesn't lack face in the fan physicality. Legit 6-1 and 222
  7. Hard to believe he left 'Bama for college station
  8. Gardere was the first QB I saw of my first ever Texas game when I was 7, and it was the Texas OU game. That was a great day 🤘
  9. Today
  10. No there is a play where he is 35 yards down the field and wide open. Nobody is near him.
  11. Know a few guys who played for him during his 2nd stint at TXST. They all loved him. A few played for his son at Blinn before transferring to TXST, too
  12. I played football for him one year at Southwest Texas before I transferred . He was a good motivator . RIP
  13. Transferred from Atherton High School in Louisville, Kentucky, to Tabor Academy in Massachusetts. Considering reclassifying into the 2027 class
  14. Quan Cosby block on the OU Db
  15. The Jordan Shipley KO return to cut the score to 10-14. We were down 14-3 and on the verge of being lit up, and that kickoff return completely changed the momentum. OU was also ranked #1 coming into the game. UT was ranked #1 after the game.
  16. I was there. That was a memorable day. I sure wish our return trip to the Cotton Bowl that season would have been just as memorable. 😒
  17. Believe he's from Louisville and transferred to Tabor this year. I was in Marion for a wedding a few weeks ago. Beautiful campus and town.
  18. Does Coach Ship (or anyone else) think Sark has "taken away' the "hot' routes or ablity to "check" on the line of scrimmage from Arch? If so, why would he?
  19. Dang, he must have incredible measurables to get an offer that early.
  20. Go look at the Johnny Walker one from either 1988 or 89.
  21. I wonder if we've ever had a player from Massachusetts, or New England for that matter. I'm willing to bet we've at least had more Aussies!
  22. The absence pf Nick Townsend and Hollywood Smothers against Tennessee turned Texas into a predictable, pass-heavy offense that invited immediate pressure. Having both playmakers healthy for the Cotton Bowl allows Texas to dictate the tempo, stay out of third-and-long traps, and keep Oklahoma’s elite edge rushers off balance
  23. He made a lasting impact on college football and on the many players, coaches, and communities he touched throughout his career. My sincere condolences to his family, friends, former players, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. RIP
