I would like to see a good, in depth analysis of home versus away win-loss percentage. As there is some premature, preliminary debate on should Texas schedule the Ohio States or also rans, this would add another discussion point regarding such decisions. That extra loss may cost you an invite to the party, but it certainly is likely to cost you a home game. Actually it’s not the losing of a home game, but it’s giving you an away game rather than a neutral site game. There are references made, but it’s minimally discussed. There are too many teams with them all having unbalanced schedules, playing too few games to be awarding significant advantages based those factors.

I was a Science tutor for the UT Athletic department for awhile. The freshmen all had mandatory study hall. The center was packed every night. Tutors available at the center day hours and evening hours. Everything possible was done to help the student athletes be successful.

It would be a LOTT nicer if it is a flip. 🤘

I've never seen officiating as bad as St Johns v. Iowa State. St John's fouls every time down the court, but the refs call it about 1 out of ten times.

CDC plays 4D chess when it comes to hiring new coaches. Coach Ange Kelly helped grow the game for Texas, but could never break through even when she was able to recruit some elite talent in recent years. She always supported the other programs though and led a classy program, even if they never won it all, saw the soccer team attend a volleyball match to support after they played their game earlier in the evening when my wife and I was at the match. Someone posted on the social media announcement that her program was the only one to have never at least make the elite 8 of their sport. With softball winning it all last year and WBB having made the final four and poised for a run the next few years, the pressure was on for the soccer program to keep up. If it's the UCLA coach, excited for what the future holds. UCLA probably either can't, or won't come close to what Texas is able to do on the NIL front to get the new coach great players.
