The reporting suggests that Texas BMDs remain squeamish about paying players. They want their names on buildings and love to ride the wave of Texas football success, but they have not fully adjusted to the new NIL reality. Until that changes, it will be hard to keep up with Oregon and Tech. 1 Quote
Brian Richardson Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Hard to keep up? We just out recruited them pretty handily this year and last. 2 Quote

I always get the sense that some schools are waiting for a response from the NCAA, all schools have to follow, that will make it even. I don’t think it will ever come. The house committee meetings were pointless. Anything the NCAA comes up with is likely going to be challenged in the courts and they will lose. It needs to be solved legally at the highest court. Until that happens it will stay this way. Quote

I mean Campbell said it himself “this was their opportunity” and they jumped all in compared to us feeling like we didn’t need to take that exact same approach cause we had felt what winning felt like…. They hadn’t, until this opportunity gave them the chance to buy it. Legally lol Edited 34 minutes ago by SB21 Quote
