Does Moody match surrounding architecture?  Does the basketball practice field?  Does the swim center?

Some people just come here to complain. It’s actually astonishing what people will b*tch about on here

A couple of updated pictures from the future Texas Football Indoor facility and the ongoing construction just south of Moncrief and DKR.

Chris Del Conte mentioned the targeted completion date back at the beginning of the year as May 2026.

Here is how things look currently.

Is it me or is the outside field not even 100 yards?

The only people the look and aesthetics of this facility are designed to cater to are ages 16-22.  So, it doesn't really matter what the majority of this board thinks.

The last public mention of grass in DKR was in 2023 from CDC, but the plan was to be installed in 2026.

I imagine we will get an update in CDC's next 40 Acres Insider

Please find a nice way to express that our eyes can’t handle looking at that shiny artificial turf anymore.  😆

Looks like a great spot to have an annual OTF flag football game!

Depends, if they have a sufficient EMS capability and an expansive triage area, then yeah😝

This new modern facilty will help Sark and coaches to recruit top athletes to the best workout and rehab facility in the country. While I am 45 and love history/nostalgia of UT, this a a 1000% upgrade to the Bubble. Hook Em!

... not to mention the awful "burnt orange" color of paint... I actually preferred the former paint color on the field... but natural grass can't come soon enough.

I remember when they pulled the grass surface out after the Aggy game years ago and criticized the Greg Norman turf grass company because the grass playing surface was slippery. Indeed it was slippery on that day under those weather conditions. Nothing's perfect.
