Texas fan in Georgia Posted yesterday at 06:15 PM Author Posted yesterday at 06:15 PM First drive of Quinn’s career 1/1 passing for 22 yards. Threw a nice block on an end around but the dolphins end up punting. Quote

Texas fan in Georgia Posted yesterday at 06:29 PM Author Posted yesterday at 06:29 PM Having Devon Achane as your RB definitely helps.. 48 Yard TD run by Achane and the dolphins tie it up vs Cincinnati 7-7 Quote

Moderators CJ Vogel Posted 23 hours ago Moderators Posted 23 hours ago Really solid start for Quinn. I’m liking it a lot so far 6 Quote
diegozanna20 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago (edited) He could not have gone to a better system for his play-style. For one the operation has so far been absolutely stellar. He's also made some really nice throws in rhythm. I still think how he manages pressure and how he navigates the pocket is ultimately gonna make or break his career in the NFL though. Rooting for him regardless. Edited 23 hours ago by diegozanna20 1 Quote

Califashorn75 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Quinn was a warrior for us. All he did was win. 3 Quote
HornsUpThumbsDown Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Happy for Quinn looking at all the other rookie QBs stats today he’s doing just fine! Longhorn nation needs to back our guy 2 Quote
NothinButDaHorns34 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Quinn is WAAAY better than a seventh round pick, But unfortunately injuries derailed his draft stock. 1 Quote
Califashorn75 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago He had two interceptions. The first was not his fault, came off receivers hands. The NFL should have a name for those and not charge them to the quarterback. Quote
TexasMDcoach Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Quinn conducted himself well yesterday. Hopefully they let him finish out the regular season as the starter to get a larger sample size of what he can do. He was accurate and managed the game well. 1 Quote
ChanmanV Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I thought Quinn had a good game for his first one. They didn't really give him great opportunities to get TDs since they opted to run near the goal line so statistically it didn't look great. The game got out of hand in the early 3rd qtr when the defense was getting demolished so Quinn was pressing more that resulted in some forced plays that resulted in the 2 INTs. The INTs weren't that bad too. Throwing it up on a 50/50 for Waddle is understandable and the throw across the middle was a great play by the CB. Those are solid NFL like decisions by a QB. What's funny is I thought the crazy throw to the TE was actually a bad decision. Funny how the narratives are only based on the results. Cincy doesn't have a good pass rush so that was a pretty ideal scenario for him but he looked solid. He'll have to at least throw a TD or 2 if he wants to have any chance to really contend for the starting spot, but I'm glad McDaniel is giving him opportunity to develop because these backups normally don't get that chance. Hopefully he doesn't have to play in the snow next week. Quote
