Moderators Jeff Howe Posted January 5 Moderators Posted January 5 The special teams bonanza continues for the Texas Longhorns! Florida State punter Mac Chiumento has committed to Texas. He made the announcement with a post on his Instagram account. Chiumento was the Seminoles‘ 2025 Special Teams MVP. He averaged 44 yards per punt on 27 punts, with six of 50 or more yards, 13 downed inside the opponent’s 20-yard line and one touchback. 17 Quote

Moderators CJ Vogel Posted January 5 Moderators Posted January 5 Chiumento went to eat at Terry Black's this afternoon with a couple of special teams' assistants. Texas BBQ once again does the trick. Out of his 27 punts, 13 ended up inside the 20 yard line. He averaged 44.0 yards per punt as well. 9 Quote

Paul L Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I would assume the next commits people will get a little more excited about, but these are all part of the big picture. 2 Quote

Bunk Moreland Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Jeff, you need your own catchphrase. Gerry has hi, Bobby has boom, CJ has his hat throwing, Rod has the helmet, Blake mutes himself. We gotta get you your own thing. 1 Quote

TexasFanatic Posted January 5 Posted January 5 What’s the point of taking HS specialist if we are just gonna get portal kids every year? Just my opinion Quote

_everyoneshere Posted January 5 Posted January 5 questionable to go with a punter with 1 year experience and only 28 punts..and on a BAD FSU team. Did FSU go for it every 4th down or just turn it over before getting to kick? Is he expected to back up the freshman? Quote
