But it doesn’t give the right to be a jerk on the message board when nobody in this thread brought up the topic of Henry Kissinger until you did for the purpose of insulting a staff member.

You didn’t just insult him. You doubled down when there was no need to do so.

I’m also a master’s degree holder from the University of Texas and that literally hold zero bearing here on a football message board. I’m sure there are production and technical things that Matthew considers important and common knowledge that you wouldn’t know about. Perhaps consider civility as an opportunity to teach not attack. Correct. Make it optional so people can still post their dumb memes. An option like that would make life so much easier for me and others.
