They want to pick his brain on how to beat us and Sark’s offense, and he wants to give the finger πŸ–•to Texas for pushing him out. Short term win for him. Either way he has to live in Oklahoma.Β

Texas did not push Livingstone nor Wisner out. Each one had an agent that convinced them that they were worth 50% more than what they were worth to Texas.Β  They each chose their own petard.

Do we know that's wrong? What I've heard/ seen on twitter is that UT offered "mid six figures" and that livingstone got 800k at OU. Half of that is still mid six figures.Β

* which, by the way, is just wild. Even 400k for a 4th receiver (who would also hog reps from more talented guys behind him) would be hard to stomach. At 800k, and with Mateer, OU seems all in on "persona over production"

All I know is that Bobby is adamant that Texas and OU offered him about the same amount.Β

I’ve read elsewhere we offered $400,000. Β That is mid six figures. Β It’s also substantially below $800,000.

Now, I’ve read references that this past year our frosh wideouts were paid well, particularly given their production. Β True? Β No idea. Β How much? Β No idea.

We are undoubtedly trying to add a big time WR. Β More money, more targets than PL. Β As for Livingstone, he may have been offered a substantial increase to leave. Β Had he stayed here, he may be 6th or 7th on the WR payroll. Β He could have been 4th or worse on the list of targets. Β People on this website lament the use of 12 personnel. Β We added a guy for potential use of 12 personnel. Β So no 4th WR, which we didn’t use a ton anyway.Β
Β

I have no idea on specifics. Β There is enough to question his future here, from his viewpoint. Β People are bitching about his comment. Β Imagine how pissed he might be getting a lesser payday than guys who haven’t produced much of anything. Β Maybe even having opportunities reduced in favor of guys that have done nothing. Β Guys that have been here less than him.

As a fan, I can’t stand OU. Β That should be the last choice for anyone. Β The only reason I can see him not considering OU is my disgust for things OU. Β

Being that he was Arch's roommate, you know Venablabble will try to get all the secret nuggets out of him for the offense. There'll be a lot of... what would ya'll run if we played defense like this... what's the hot... what's the call... Sark is gonna have to really be in his bag. Parker wants to be part of the OU squad to break the streak and exact revenge upon us. It's gonna be a bloodbath... and I can't WAIT!!!!

They hope πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚! OU will be getting ready for another ASS WHIPPING again!

Losing Wisner might end up really hurting. Β There isn't anything in the portal available that I see as being a better option than Wisner. Β Hopefully, some dudes at RB jump in, because we are in a serious pinch at RB if not.

I’m not saying they did, I’m saying that’s PL narrative for himself and justification for going to OU.Β

Raleek Brown is light years above Tre. Brown has homerun ability, Tre doesn't.Β

Just hope Coach Boom has our guys ready for a couple of "Boom MFERS".

You could tell from his body language in the Citrus Bowl that Arch already knew Parker was leaving. He looked pissed more than once at Parker.

Several drops may have had something to do with that.πŸ€”
