Texas Tech, Texas A&M and OU make the playoffs while preseason No. 1 Texas makes the cheez-it bowl

Texas Tech, Texas A&M and OU are all thriving in basketball while Texas might not even make the NIT.

When is the last time the Texas major men’s sports have been this far behind in comparison? CDC should be embarrassed

Texas Tech, Texas A&M and OU are all thriving in basketball while Texas might not even make the NIT.

The football team is NOT like the basketball program at all. We have one down year (still 10 wins) yet people are acting like we went 5-7. Basketball definitely needs more NIL help, But can they get it in the issue.

Danks, Krivacs, Baxter, Branyon, Thompson, Dotson, Cunningham, Willock, Cooper, Turner, BMW etc. Fun memories of a different era. 

I watched probably 90% of Longhorn bb games going back to about the start of the Barnes era. The last 3 seasons Ive watched about 25% of the games. I just dont have a connection with the players anymore. We dont see FR grow and develop into JR's and SR's anymore. It's become pick up bb. Who's got next? 

I'll take Miller over Terry all day, but this team is not young and developing, its an experienced group of players and I believe we're already at their ceiling and its not good.  

Our talent level at guard is awful. 

Last night I watched TT vs OU rather than the Horns. I knew the outcome already.

Last night I watched TT vs OU rather than the Horns. I knew the outcome already. 

I checked out when the cut it to ten points. Why? Because Rick Barnes teams do let you bank into the game. Then I took one last look at the players on the floor and said yeah I am going to bed.

I’ll take the blame for the lack of a game thread. I got tied up with something for YouTube channel and then was on the livestream with Bobby and CJ. As of now, I’m still trying to find time to watch the game, which will be my punishment for not putting up the thread.

I would just skip to the 2nd half around the 14 minute mark when he benches most of the team for effort

No blame needed. We don’t need a game thread. That would  mean there was an actual game being played. Alabama is up next I believe. Vanderbilt will be the final road game. How is Vanderbilt better than Texas? Nebraska? I think Coach Miller probably gets thrown out of the Vanderbilt game. Probably because he doesn’t want to watch either. He sat Matas (his recruit), Pope and Swain for a while. Then he blasted their effort after the game. Only reason to tune in is to see if he has a stroke.

I'm all for Miller shaking up the lineups and playing the guys that will play hard every minute they are in. It's going to take more than a season to learn how to play proper defense but they can at least rebound and hussle for balls. 

I am all for it too. It’s think it will result in a player or two no longer being on the team.
