UTTUCK Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I’ll start with mine. Offense: Ivan Williams, big strapping RB, but when I first started really liking him was when I heard a story about a hot shot recruit coming into town for a recruiting visit and started running his mouth. Ivan lined him out and told him to shut the f up, or he’d shut him up. Defense: Brian Robison, very good DE, but so athletic was used on FG defense because of his like 40” vertical. Blocked several in his career. And who can forget the hit on Rett Bomar, fumble and Rod Wright rumbling for about 70 yard TD in RRR. Quote
tsip92 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I’ll play… Josh Thompson - The guy was absolutely elite at downing Michael Dickson’s punts inside the 10 yard line. i think Robison, Bryant Westbrook (elite cover corner that could hit like a freight train), Pat Fitzgerald (great pass catching TE), and Quan Cosby (WR that caught everything that was part of the dynamic trio with Colt and Jordan Shipley) might all be too good to meet the “non-star” qualifier.
