Considering they just ponied up for him to stay at LT, I'd assume not so much. Considering he's a 1st round pick at LT with another year. Maybe even a top 15 pick.

Look…I’m not saying it will happen. But it can. Goodby playing right tackle next season would not affect next year draft. Unless he just sucks. Scouts already know him and like him as a high end left tackle at the next level

Think of it like this. Where would Kelvin Banks play if he was on the team? Goosby came back to win a NC and will play wherever he can help this team, plus  he has signed.

He is the Cam Coleman of the LT world.

Goosby came back to win a NC while playing LT and protecting Arch’s blind side. And to get all the eyes and attention that comes with that and to go in the first round. Asking him to give that up to bring in a shiny new toy (now matter how much you want/need it), is not how you treat a player like Goosby.

He's going to want LT money and considering how good he is, he will likely demand quite a bit. There was talk that we wanted Heard from Tenn but we wanted him at RT and he was set on playing LT.

I would rather see Goosby protecting Arch’s blindside than something new coming in but you never know I guess
