ArizonaLonghorn Posted Friday at 04:36 PM Posted Friday at 04:36 PM This was never my favorite genre of music but since he's from Texas and was living in Austin playing frat gigs and covers when he recorded this Grammy winning song at an Austin studio let's give it up for Christopher Cross. This was back in the late 70's when I was on campus. The album also featured "Ride Like the Wind" which hit # 2 on the Top 100. I think he won 5 Grammys that year. I had a 14' Hobie Cat in those days and every time this song comes on the radio (rarely now) I think of those days sailing on the Austin area lakes. 1 1 Quote
