Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 53 minutes ago Author Moderators Posted 53 minutes ago Borba ALMOST gets an oppo-taco. It's a flyout to the warning track in right. Becerra, who walked earlier in the inning, scores, making it 14-0. 2 Quote

I was just surprised they’re still running him out there up 13–0. At some point it stops being about saving arms and starts being about not showing the entire regional your Friday guy for 7+ innings in a blowout. But hey, if he’s not pitching again this weekend, I guess they’re fine letting him finish the job Edited 46 minutes ago by HonkEm Quote

His pitch count has past the point of being able to pitch the rest of the weekend so save your arms for tomorrow and possibly Monday. With Ruger and his shoulder tomorrow might be a shorter outing for him. Having all the pen arms available would be a good thing. 2 Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted 42 minutes ago Author Moderators Posted 42 minutes ago A nice defensive play by Becerra on a ball back up the middle helps Volantis put together a 1-2-3 sixth. At 84 pitches, that should be it for Volantis. 4 Quote
