So we can’t get even a 1/4 of that? We made zero adjustments and kept chasing the same stuff. We looked just as lost as the first game. Different arm same result. It was unacceptable and criminal considering how well we were throwing. We struck them out 15 times and lost. Georgia’s pitching staff was never viewed as their strength. Yeah, you were certainly the only person saying that. I think he meant defensively, didn't he? Maybe the guy should have been at DH? Quote

Frances Soward Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Defensive mistakes and poor at bats vs Georgia negates very good pitching. Just a shame! Quote

khorn5 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago It was a good year, wasn’t a great year. Bottom 3rd of the order did nothing for this team all year. Tinney/Robbins struggled vs GA but those 2 and Pack carried this team for a lot of the year. Not going to say anything bad about those guys. Need to balance the offense and get a couple of pitchers. Not much pop will to be left coming back. Better spend money on portal or Texas will be wasting Volantis/Cozart years. They have the starters to win it all next year. They don’t have the offense right now to cover an off night. Spend, spend, spend!! 1 Quote

Rocky P Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago @Jeff Howei thought the bullpen would be the death of us. I definitely didnt have our offense sinking the team on my bingo card. We gotta shore up the bottom of the rotation Quote
.45s Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I also am not sure that all batters should be waiting 2 or 3 pitches before taking a swing hoping to find their pitch. We get too many 0 and 2 counts and batters with not much bat control invariably chase bad pitches at that point. Some batters are good first pitch hitters and scouting reports tell you how good an opposing pitcher is at throwing first pitch strikes and what kind of pitch he relies. Quote
