Amarillo (Texas) Palo Duro WR Kyron Brown is scheduled to announce his decision today at 1:30pm CT at the Palo Duro auditorium. 

Texas is considered the favorite over Northwestern and Kansas State.

That was probably the visiting teams sideline.  They must not travel well.  The cameras are usually up in the pressbox area on the home teams side.

It's pretty interesting watching his film. Obviously he's not playing against DFW and Houston level talent out there, but what really stood out to me is he seems really polished for a high school junior. He naturally works to find open space in zone coverage. He sets up defenders in man coverage. I think his "super power" as RodB would say is his stop and start/change of direction. He has great feet. I really like this guy. If he was in DFW or Houston there's not way he wouldn't be ranked waaaay higher.

TTU is chasing stars. Just like everything else up there at this point, they want quick fixes and think highest star ranking by industry means better player. While that is true a lot of the time, you are always going to miss on a number of gems if you are only paying attention to stars. Ask Mack Brown about that from about 2009-2014...

Agreed. PD doesn't play the best competition, but he looks pretty polished already. My favorite about him is his physicality, whether it's blocking, playing edge, or trying to run through tackles. And that should only get better when he's in the S&T program at Texas.

You're totally right about the physicality. I wonder it he comps at all to Emmett Mosely? @Gerry Hamilton thoughts on that comp?
