Putting on weight tells me nothing. I hear stories every week about Cummings performing well and being a steal. Even in this update there is nothing praising his performance.

Was told by a source this morning that Tyler Atkinson is roughly 6-2 and sitting at about 222 pounds right now. Likely to be around 225 when the season starts. 

The initial roster has him at 6-1, 216.

I thought he was going to be a stud. For someone who was recruited at his level I would expect to hear more positive stories about. That is what I'm getting at. I'm just a little concerned.

I'll cut you some slack because I haven't heard much except....in Muschamp's system there are more "keys" than what one would think because he has such a reputation for being so aggressive.  It's more complex than Atkinson's role in high school, and he is still in the "diagnosing the play and thinking" stage of his development.  So it's slowing him down.

Has anyone else surmised this as well?  Please confirm or correct me.

Might wanna wait until at least the beginning of fall practice of his true freshman season.

So your theory is because there aren't more stories being written about a freshman LB in the offseason, he must not be the stud you thought he was going to be?!  You're dangerously close to being told to take a lap.

The be been waiting since January. All I want is for someone to give me some good news about what they’ve seen. If you have some please share it. None of this means he won’t be good or even great. I just feel like he’s one of our more high profile signings and very little has been said about him compared to other high level guys in the class. We’re in the dog days of summer so just me thinking out loud.

Some people invest in post season stuff too much. I'm a firm believer in the ramp into camp. This is a stellar note on Atkinson who will be a Luke Kuechly type guy. Will have natural ball skills that Rocky and others simply don't possess.

Heard GH say something similar but that’s literally all I’ve heard. Just really wanting more info. Maybe I’m coming off more negative than I perceived. Appreciate the response 🤘🏻

"Dragon Glass", basically obsidian was the stone that could kill the white walkers and the undead, but the NK was killed with Valyrian steek dagger, the only other material that could kill them.
