Anyone making the trip to Knoxville? I live in Tennessee, but come to Texas for more games every year. Now that Texas is in the SEC, the away games are closer.

I'll be up in Knoxville the night before. If anyone needs recommendations or want to tailgate, let me know!

That's my plan! I live in Charlotte so only a little over a 3-hour drive. Was hoping the game wasn't at noon so likely making the trip Friday night. Can't wait! Was recently there for the Luke Combs concert, great vibe.

Good deal. I'm picking up Sandman (his name on youtube lol) from the airport. I live far west, so almost 6 hour drive for me. My whole family is Tenn grads so I have had a lot of crap talking to back up haha.

That's going to be awesome.

I was notified through UT that I received Tenn tickets.  Booked my flights and hotels over the weekend.  I am flying into Nashville on Thurs.  Will drive over to Gatlinburg on Friday. Then drive to Knoxville from Gatling on Saturday.  Any recommendations you can provide on parking areas, time to allow for travel on Sat morning, etc would be great.   We do have a friend who is living in Knoxville (her husband is doing residency at the University of Tennessee) who said we can tailgate with them.

@mcwast - places I've ate that are pretty good. Old Steakhouse, Lonesome Dove, Connors, Tupleo Honey Downtown, Myrtles Chicken and Beer, Calhouns, and Stock and Barrell

Lonesome Dove, Tupelo Honey Downtown, Calhouns, and Stock and Barrel are all in walking distance to the stadium. You can park pretty much anywhere downtown if you can find a spot, the earlier the better of course.

Got a room at the Graduate Hilton which I think puts me in easy walking distance to the game. Any dinner spot recommendations in that area?

Make sure you bring him to the OTF tailgate and get together to hang with @CJ Vogel and @Jeff Howe since sandman is their favorite YT viewer lol.

@BlakeMay from your experience, do you think it's best to pull the trigger on tix now or wait a little closer to the date? I thought I was getting tix through work but no luck so trying to see my next best option given the cost currently.

Not Blake, but do a lot of these travel games...
We got tix about a month ago and prices have been pretty steady/flat since then.
I'd think that stays true, unless the wheels fall off for TN going into that game, which I doubt since it will be their first SEC game I believe... Since it's already a sellout from the official side, I think the prices will stay flat or increase slightly as we get closer, but the quality of the selection likely drops.
There are still some decent tix like lower bowl end zone areas for < $600/seat, but also a wide range - I see 2 pairs 3 rows apart one for $580 and one for $1400, for example...
Not sure where the official visitor section(s) might be, I just got a spot I liked...

As Paul said, they've stayed steady. The Gametime App has been around $20-$30 cheaper than most of your SeatGeek, Stubhub, etc. They Gametime App also will be cheaper at random times, like a random Tuesday morning at 6AM or Sunday at 8PM.

I've watched tickets they've stayed the same though. I still haven't pulled the trigger yet either, looking to this week. I have some reserves from season ticket holders (Tennessee Fans) here at home, but I'm trying to get 6 together. They are averaging $500-$700 a ticket.

Thank you as well! I think I'm just getting one ticket at this point so a few options but good to know on the price.
