Yep. Had mentioned on a couple of threads it was likely.

1. It will be interesting if Texas A&M doesn't believe Bryson Warren will be eligible.

2. If I were Pope, would have gone to SMU. Much better fit for his game. Asking Pope to pressure guard 94 feet all season will be interesting.

3. He will definitely have some very good, hot games shooting it and help Texas A&M win.

4. All of this if the NCAA doesn't get a stay.

5. Pope's effort to play against Purdue in S16 game with a broken foot will always be one of the best individual efforts by a Texas player I have seen.

There is ZERO loyalty or pride in a school these days. You’re naive if you believe these guys are more than paid mercenaries.

Texas didn’t have spot for him. Business is business for all parties.

Was never a big pope fan but the grit he showed in the tourney last year, battling injuries and hitting some massive shots, changed my mind.

Glad he’s getting another chance to play but hope he’s terrible.

Texas didn’t want him back. Who cares if he wants to play for a loser

As an Aggie board poster puts it...

"Imagine going back 25 years and reading that there is a basketball player who played two years at Oregon State, two years at Texas, tried to go pro, went undrafted, and then was ruled immediately eligible at Texas A&M."

They got a stay from the Ohio Appeals Court today.  But the Colorado ruling is still out there. So who really knows how fast these Court cases can get resolved, if at all. So for now still all steam ahead it seems.
