When you see success stories like Burke and Caldwell then couple that with LSU trying to pick up ex NFL signees it really shows you how close all these guys are to one another talent wise.  Same is true I think with college players from the portal or 3 to 5 star recruits.  It isn't always to best athlete or most physically gifted "freak" that makes a difference.  A lot of their success comes between the ears and "want to".  The ability to evaluate those qualities is huge.  I have seen many gifted guys flame out because of bad attitudes or lack of desire.  Shows how fragile life itself is.  The difference between success and failure can be razor thin.  Right system, right coach, right situation can make all the difference.

I thought Ethan Burke grew up in Austin and committed to play Lacrosse at Michigan.  Either way, congratulations to Ethan.  Clearly has worked his way into the NFL and earned his spot.

Grew up in Maryland and was committed to play lacrosse there. He was committed to Michigan to play football until Texas came in with an offer right before signing day.

Glad Quinn got out of that Miami dumpster fire. Jags have a talented roster.

I would have liked for him to be qb3 in San Fran but he just needs a little more time

Bit of a surprise on that one. Guessing he doesnt clear waivers.

Idk about this year but the organization did not like how he carried himself last season. There is a reason he was DNP so much and Davis who’s been cut like 5x by the cowboys made it over him. Wish the best of luck to him at his next stop.

Gerry has been praying on his downfall for years he was not a blue fan even when he was on Texas

He has had maturity issues going back to HS. He got injured last season because he wore brand new designer cleats in practice that had never been broken in.

The NFL isn’t putting up with that kind of stuff.
